Disclaimer (i) Forecast is subject to uncertainty due to rainfall forecasts, model parameters, errors in measurement and other unkown factors
(ii). Cross-sections used in River Ganga and Mahananda is from JAXA-satellite whereas actual cross section for River Kosi & Bagmati
(iii). MIKE-11 Data Assimilation has been used which has considerable impact on discharge and thus on Water level Prediction. (For Rivers other than Kosi, Khando, Kamla and Bhutahi)
(iv). Water level status with respect to the Danger Level has been calculated based on the forecasted data for all the three days
(v). Kosi basin part in regional network model is still under improvement.
