1 Purpose of this Document
This document is the user manual for the WilOp Screenshot Utility V.10.

2 Classification
This document is for internal use only.

3 Required Equipment
- USB Stick, minimum required disk space for the program files: XXX KB.
- USB Hub
- USB Keyboard with built-in mouse or
- USB Mouse

4 Program files

Following files are used:

5 Preparations USB Stick


- On the USB stick create a directory “\WilOp” (“\” means it must be in the root (highest level)
directory of the stick.
- In above created directory create a directory “Run”
- Copy the following file into the directory “\WilOp\Run”:
WilOpScreens.exe
WilOpScreens.ini

6 Preparations Leak Tester

- Connect the USB hub to the leak tester.


- Connect keyboard, mouse and USB stick to the USB hub.

7 Starting the program


- Press and hold “Ctrl” key and press “Esc” key. You will see the (empty) start menu.
- Enter WilOpScreens.exe in to the text box but do not press enter.

- Click on “See more results”
- In the “Search Results” dialog click on “Custom”

- In the “Choose Search Location” enter “e:\wilop\run” into the textbox and click on “Add”.

- In the “Search Results” Dialog you find now the WilOpScreens application icon.
Double click on the icon to start the program.

After starting the program, a window is displayed for is a short time.

It informs about how to make screenshots and the time when the program will be terminated
automatically on idle.
The program will then run invisible in the background.

8 Using the program

Press left and right mouse button simultaneously, or press PrtScr key to create a screenshot of the
whole screen.
A print screen is only made if the image of the print screen is different than a previous print screen.

The screenshots are stored in the directory “\Wilop\Screenshots”. The file name is the date and time
when the screenshot has been made.

The screenshot is stored in PNG graphics format.

9 Terminating the program

There are two ways to terminate the program:


- Removing USB Stick
- Auto terminating after idle time

When the Program terminating, a dialog is shortly display to inform the user.

9.1 Removing USB Stick

Removing the USB stick will terminate automatically the program

9.2 Auto terminating after idle time

When the program is not used for a certain time (No screenshots made), the program will terminate
automatically after a defined time.

10 Parameters

All parameters are defined in WilOpScreens.ini file which must be located in the same directory as the
executable file.
All parameters are in [WilOpScreens].

Description: Requiered time to press both mouse buttons

10.2 Parameter TimeShowCam

Parameter: TimeShowCam
Description: Time while cam symbol is shown after a screenshot
Value: millisecs
Default value: 650

10.3 Parameter TimeShowSplash

Parameter: TimeShowSplash
Description: Display time of startup window
Value: millisecs
Default value: 2000

11 Parameter AutoClose

Parameter: AutoClose
Description: Activates auto closing after an idle time
Value: 1 = activated 0 = deactivated
Default value: 1

11.1 Parameter TimeAutoClose


Description: Idle time for auto closing
Value: minutes
Default value: 10

11.2 Parameter ImagePath

Parameter: ImagePath
Description: Path where screenshots are stored
Value: Use complete path without drive letter
Default value: \WilOp\Screenshots

12 Log file

The log file is created automatically when the program is started.


The name of the filename is WilOpScreens.log

The following events are logged:

- Errors
- Screenshots
- Starting of the program
- Terminating the program
