Small (Medium, Large, XL, 2XL, 3XL), to fit bust 32-34 (36-

oversized fit, with 6-8” of ease)

Extension measures 1”, or work longer if desired. Cut
strand and fasten off.

HOOD extension:
Row 1: With RS facing, and Sand, beg at corner of hood,
ch3, * 3dc, in corner, ch 1; then rep from * along entire
edge, working 3dc in each join between squares, end 3dc
in corner space; turn.
Row 2 (WS): Ch4, * 3dc, ch1; repeat across, end 1dc in
corner; turn.
Repeat the last 2 rows until this section measures 7 (7,
7, 7, 7.5, 7.5)”. Cut strand and fasten off. Fold hood as
shown on schematic and join back edges.

FINISHING:
Weave in all ends. Steam all pieces lightly.

Join pieces in this order:


1. Fronts to Back at shoulders;
2. Tops of sleeves in armholes, centering at shoulder seam;
3. Sleeve sides, then Front and Back sides—note that
sewing (with right sides facing to maintain outline sts),
rather than crocheting, results in a softer seam at sides;
4. Hood to neckline, easing in any fullness.

Front and Hood Band:


The front band is worked along front and hood edges, all
in one section. With Sand, work in Side panel pattern as
est for 4 rows—band measures 2”.
