BULLYING

Bullying is when someone, thinking he/she is superior


to you, treats you poorly repeatedly.
Types:
Verbal - bad/negative words
Social - damaging reputation and relationships
Physical - hurting/damaging possession
Cyber - through electronic technology

STALKING

Stalking is when someone follows you and watches your


life everywhere and causes you to fear or be alarmed.
Stalking behaviors:
Waiting outside one's home or school
Texting without consent
Sending gifts even being told not to
Monitoring the private life
Disclosing personal information

EXTORTION

Extortion is when someone threatens you to get


something from you.
Examples:
Sending money or your family's life will be in danger
Giving money or you will be hurt

A fraternity is a group of men with a common purpose or


interest. Their women counterpart are called a sorority.
Some fraternities usually have initiation rites that
include physical torture, also called hazing.

KIDNAPPING AND ABDUCTION

Kidnapping is when someone forcefully takes you


somewhere without your consent.

Abduction is when someone forcefully takes you from


your home to bring you somewhere.

These are done usually to ask money from your family or


to use you as a shield.
ACTS OF TERROR

Acts of terror is when someone causes fear of the general


public.
Example:
• Activities of terrorist groups that harm the public

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Domestic violence is when someone repeatedly hurts


you to control you.
This is usually done by abusive partner, parent, or
guardian.

SUICIDE AND PARA SUICIDE

SUICIDE - means ending your own life. It is sometimes a


way for people to escape pain or suffering. When
someone ends their own life, we say that they "died by
suicide." A "suicide attempt" means that someone tried
to end their life but did not die.
PARASUICIDE- A form of self-harm in which someone
mimics the act of suicide without the intent to kill
themselves
SEXUAL ABUSE

Sexual abuse refers to any unwanted or non-consensual


sexual act such as unwanted kiss, touch, and sexual
activity. Sexual acts when someone is drunk, drugged, or
unconscious is also considered abuse.
Examples:
Molestation
Rape
Incest
