AQUAPANEL® Exterior Basecoat is a general purpose rendering mortar (GP) for
basecoat. It is used for basecoating AQUAPANEL ® Cement Board Outdoor when internal and external use (CS IV) according to EN 998 – 1.

Mixing Working time
For manual application: stir the contents of the bag into approx. 5 litres of water. Manual: approx. 8-10 minutes/m 2
Apply and work the mixed plaster within 45 minutes. Machine: approx. 5 minutes/m 2
For application by machine: Add approx. 140 litres of water initially and adjust
to give a thin consistency. Working temperature/climate
Do not use when air and/or wall temperatures are below +5°C. Protect fresh
plaster from the effects of frost and rapid drying.
Processing/application
Apply AQUAPANEL® Exterior Basecoat 5-7 mm thick, spread to achieve a flat
surface free from irregularities. Embed the AQUAPANEL® Reinforcing Mesh Method of delivery/storage
over the full surface, keeping it free of folds, close to the surface and with ■ 25 kg/bag

area.
The total thickness of the reinforcing layer formed by the AQUAPANEL ®
Exterior Basecoat and the AQUAPANEL® Reinforcing Mesh should be a minimum
of 5 mm. Processing time for the mixed plaster is 45 minutes at approx. 20°C.
Before further processing allow a drying time of 1 day per mm of thickness.
