Builders Class’s Course Outline

Adventurer Year 2025 (March to December)

Meeting #1 (March 23)


1- Page #1 Discuss the Adventurer Pledge and Law with the children.
Have the children write their names on the blank lines.

2- Page #2 Complete two stories for the Reading Award.

HOMEWORK: Give the children other three stories to complete the Reading Award.

Meeting #2 (April 13)


1- Check which children did their homework on the Reading Award
a. Go over the reading and the answers
2- Pages #4, #5, #6 and #7 (In anticipation, print large posters of each character and
prepare dynamic lessons for the children to participate actively)
a. Paul, the disciples share Jesus’ love
b. Martin Luther, God’s church disobeys
c. Ellen White, God’s church prepares for His coming
d. Gets ready to meet Jesus

HOMEWORK: Assign the children to colour the four pictures, that is #4, #5, #6 & #7

Meeting #3 (May 11) Practice for World Adventurer Day

Meeting #4 (May 25)


1- Check which children did their homework (colouring pages 4 to 7)
a. Colouring the pictures
b. Do a brief review of the story each character depicts
2- Page #8, God’s message to me
a. Have five children read a different bible verse from the list suggested.
b. As a group, discussed what each bible verse means
c. Have the children write the answers in their adventurer book
3- Page #9, have the children solve the word search puzzle (New Testament’s Books)

HOMEWORK: Finish the word search puzzle


Point #3 of the Prayer Award; Pray to Jesus 3 times a day for one week
(Give each child a form for them to tick off when they pray)
Meeting #5 (June 8)
1- Check which children completed their homework (word search puzzle and prayer)
2- Page #12 Prayer Award
a. You can create Bristol board’s size posters that are appealing to the children
b. In addition, you can prepare small booklet’s pages for the children to put
together as the information is presented and discussed
i. Why we pray
ii. What we pray for
iii. How we pray
iv. The Lord’s Prayer
v. Prayer Card
vi. Any other creative idea

HOMEWORK: Have the children complete any pending item for the Prayer Award

Meeting #6 (June 22)


1- Check which children completed their homework (Prayer Award)
2- Page #13 I am Special
a. In anticipation, prepare the materials (hearts) for the scrapbook
b. Make sure that you have sufficient glue sticks, safety scissors, pictures, etc.
c. Discuss with the children why they are “special”
i. They need to realize that they are God’s special treasure
d. Guide the children to put together their scrapbook
i. Make sure you have a personal sample for them to see and follow

HOMEWORK: Encourage the children to complete their scrapbook at home and to


write in information in the hearts on page #13 in the adventurer book

Meeting #7 (September 14)


1- Check which children completed their homework (I am Special’s Scrapbook)
2- Pages #14 & #15 Media Critic Award
a. Question #1a & #1b
b. Question #2
c. Question #4 (Choose between Read a story and listen to a recording)

HOMEWORK: Have children work on completing the Media Log on page #15
Make sure that you have a personal sample for them to understand the work
Meeting #8 (September 28)
1- Check which children completed their homework on Media Log
2- Reinforce what was taught in the previous meeting
3- Question #6, in anticipation choose four to five stories to share with the children
a. The teacher reads the beginning of the story and the children make up the
ending

HOMEWORK: Page #21 The world of other friends (Colour and answer the questions)
Page #22 (Action strip) one answer per rectangle space

Meeting #9 (October 5)
1- Pages #16 and #17 Temperance Award
a. Question #1
b. Question #2a
c. Question #2b
d. Question #3 (Invite a doctor/nurse to give 20 minutes talk)
e. Question #4

HOMEWORK: Children work on question #7 (prepare a form for them to use)

Meeting #10 (October 26)


1- Check which children completed their homework: question #7 on page 17
2- Question #6 Make the necessary preparations in anticipation

HOMEWORK: Page #18 Drawing or painting a family flag or banner and responding to the
question at the bottom of the page
a- Show the children your family flag or banner for them to understand the HW
Meeting #11 (November 9)
1- Check which children did their homework, page #18
2- Have the children share the bible family they choose and explain the reason
3- Page #23 to #26 The World of Other People
a. National Anthem, provide a slip of paper with the lyrics to stick in the book
b. Discuss and write why we sing the national anthem
c. Let the children colour the space for the flag and give them a print out of the
coat of arms
d. Discuss and write the meaning of the colours and symbols
e. Write the name of the country’s capital and country’s leader
f. Provide pictures for the children to stick (page #25)
