4. Additional Remarks
COVID-19 INFORMATION:
- Must wear mask and gloves during your travelling (any type of transport) to embark the vessel.
- You should use proper quality of Masks (95% protection) and be shown how to wear the mask.
- Preferable to hold 2 pieces of each mask and gloves.
- Maintain good hand hygiene whilst travelling through hand washing or hand sanitizer.
- Keep social distance whilst travelling
- Does not shake hands and avoid other physical contact
- Avoids contact with the receiver when handing over documents
- Disinfect mobiles phones, laptops and other items of frequent touch
- Check if there are empty seats available on the flights where no one will be near
- Isolates in the room if hotel accommodation is required
DOCUMENTS: Officer should carry on hand all Original National documentation: IMO courses,
COC, National seaman book, passport, vaccine card, medical certificate, full contract printed, pre
joining forms. Flag docs: CRA or endorsement of Coc.
CMS: COMPETENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: is required by any seafarer joining full managed
vessels, promotion checklist is only required by crew joining crew managed vessels where
PAL system is not available on board. It is important as well that each seafarer must
ensure that any records made during his tenure, have been sent correctly to the office
before leave the vessel.
