 Responsible for 2G/3G/4G Sites KPIs Optimization to achieve target KPIs as per
customer requirements.
• Monitoring of 2G KPIs (DCR, SDR, CSSR, HOSR, SDCCH, TCH Drops/Blocks, U/D TBF
ESR)
• Daily 3G monitoring of KPIs (RRC RAB SR %, CS PS CDR%, SHO SR%,
• HHO SR %, HSPA throughput, TCP Utilization, All Congestions, CSFB IRAT SR%)
• Daily 4G monitoring of L1800 Layer KPIs (RRC ERAB SR %, Service Drops %, HOSR
SR% (Inter/ Intra), DL Throughput, VOLTE, SRVCC, PRB Utilization Balancing, CL-
MIMO, User, Carrier Aggregation, TNL S1 X2 Monitoring)
• Conducting Periodic Parametric, NBR & Frequency Audits of assigned clusters.

using FTP and UDP.

2- Customer Complaint handler


(Vendor Huawei)
(from July 2019 to Up till now)

 Ufone LTE/3G/2G Customer complaints of all central Punjab from technical (RF) end.
 Interaction with Customer through calls to note down their network related
problems.
 Customer record their problems regarding internet slow browsing,
Voice distortion, number unavailability and weak coverage also.
 After getting feedback and Coordinates from customer, I have extracted
network stats by myself from PRS against each complaint and plot on pivot
Chart
 Stats KPI’s for 3G are HSDPA and HSUPA throughput, HSDAP and HSUPA User,
Uplink interference for U900 and U2100 band separately.
 LTE main Stats KPI’s are; Downlink Throughput, Average DL and UL User,
Average UL Interference per Non-Shared PRB for GL6MHz (dBm), CSFB Success
Rate.
 After analyzing Stats, different types of solutions suggested from RF Department.
 If customer location is null of site the RF solution is Weak coverage and Sector
addition.
 User facing slow browsing due to High data user and External interference.
 High data User contaminated by sector slitting and External interference
eliminated by spectrum testing to identify the external source.

3- PTA Joint Qos Surveys and joint Visit for the resolution of different Types of
Complaints:
(From March 2019 till April 2022)

Conducted Different Types of activities with PTA which are listed below;

3.1 PTA Qos Surveys to check the quality of service of Telecom Operators for
License Extension:

 I have completed different joint Qos Surveys as a supervisor with PTA for various cities
of Punjab. Where PTA Checked the service quality of different Telecom operators with
the help of Joint Testing conducted there.
 In Qos Survey, we have conducted Calls, SMS and Data testing on different roads of a
city by following methodology set by the PTA.
 Ensure the submission of complete report to PTA in provide format after the completion of
field testing.
 Different KPI’s of Call Testing like Service accessibility, Network downtime, Grade of
service, Call connection time, Mean Opinion score (Mos), Call completion rate, SMS
service accessibility and SMS End to End Time.
 Data testing include KPI’s like Http Throughput, RAB setup Success rate and sessional
abnormal release rate.
 Coverage conformance KPI’s Like RSRP for LTE and RSCP for 3G also taken from Data Logs.
 For the approval of Service quality of the city, each telecom operator has to meets PTA
set thresholds for above mentioned KPI’s for report acceptance.







3.2 Joint visit with FAB and PTA for Jammer, repeater and amplifier Testing

 Conducted Joint visit with PTA to check the efficiency of Jammer installed at that
place and supervised the team to restrict the coverage from sensitive areas.
 Removal of illegal jammer installed without NOC’s.
 By the use of Spectrum analyzer identified many sources on 900, 2100 and 1800
band which produce Uplink interference.
 Repeater and amplifier Testing to check their efficiency to boost the signal
coverage and removed illegal repeater and amplifier. 
4- RF Post Processing (Huawei)

 OMO benchmark Reporting for competitive analysis of Different operator like


Ufone, Mobilink, Telenor and Zong.
 In OMO Testing, comprehensive report is made after IDLE, CS (Moving and
Statice), PS (Downlink and Uplink Drive.
 Drive test analysis to improve 2G & 3G coverage and quality.
 Drive test analysis to solve ping pong, pilot pollution and other problems
 Analyzing RF Drive Test generated through log files and verifying & testing of
hardware upgrades and new elements added to the network & keep track of
all the upgradation activities.
 Height reduction plan implementation in existing big city to optimize the
existing network when it requires after inserting many new sites for
avoiding overshooting as well as capacity.
 Data analysis after drive test, primary optimization for verifying existing
coverage site, troubleshooting issues like call drop and handover cellular.
 Analysis of various 3G parameters such as RSCP, Ec/No, RSSI, HO (softer, Soft, IRAT).
 Interference detection & Rectification, Sector Swapping, Frequency scanning &
Neighbor optimization.
 Physical optimization on site such as changing tilt, azimuth and also doing
neighbor addition and deletion, changing BCCH & TCH frequency.
 Optimized physical parameters like Antenna type, mechanical & electrical
tilt, horizontal & vertical beam width to improve quality.
 Analysis of various2G&3G parameters such as RX Level, RX Quality, C/I, C/A, SQI,
BER, DTX, GPRS, RSCP, ECNO, AMR, ACTIVE SET SC, HSDPA, HSUPA etc.
 Final submission of drive test report using MapInfo and Power Point
