Dear Parents (Classes II, III & IV)
As mentioned in the previous letter on 19 December 2024, we are finalising plans for the
relocation of Junior School II (Classes III & IV) to the new Bashundhara campus. In response to
parents’ requests following our November 4 letter, we have advised the private company that
provides bus services for the Senior and Middle Schools to extend their services to the upcoming
classes III and IV for the Bashundhara Campus. This service has been reliable and will continue
to operate under the close supervision of the concerned Sunnydale authorities.
Below are the details regarding the bus service:
Start Time: All buses will depart for the Bashundhara campus at 7:10 AM sharp.
Return Time: Similar to the current practice for existing classes at the Bashundhara campus, all
buses will depart within 10-15 minutes after school ends. To reduce travel time, the buses will
use the elevated expressway.
During the first few days, you will get a clear idea of the approximate arrival time at the drop-off
points to receive your child / children.
Fare Collection Booth: For your convenience, fare collection booth is available at House # 34,
Road # 7, Dhanmondi
Monthly Bus Fare: The monthly bus fare is Tk. 7,500. There are no charges for May and June. If
the school remains closed for more than a month due to natural disasters or unavoidable
circumstances, only 50% of the regular fare (Tk. 3,750) will be charged.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Point: The pick-up and drop-off point will be informed later.
Cancellation of Bus Service: A written cancellation notice must be submitted to the bus
company's office at least three months in advance. Once cancelled, the bus service cannot be
reactivated for the same academic year.
Failure to pay the bus fare on time will result in consequences similar to those for non-payment
of school fees.
Compensation for Damages: If a student damages the bus in any way, compensation will be
required as per the rules outlined in the Student-Parent Guide.
To help us confirm the total number of students requiring the bus service, please pay the
advance bus fare for July 2025 by 30 May 2025.

The School Authority has assigned specific School Campuses and other two spots in the location of
Dhanmondi as Pick up and Drop off points.
Parents, who want to avail Bus Service beyond these assigned locations, may contact Friends Transport
to avail Bus Service for their children to reach Bashundhara Campus from the locations of their choice as
Pick up and Drop off points. In this case following things should be remembered:
* School Authority will not take any responsibility of those students commuting from home to
Bashundhara School Campus.
* No Bus Mother / Bus Father will be assigned by the school on these Buses. It will be considered as a
private arrangement of the Parents with the Friends Transport.
* If anyone comes late or missed the classes, he / she will be marked late for the day and no makeup
classes / tests will be taken later.
This arrangement with the Bus Company can be made only after the Parents give an undertaking to the
School Authority stating that the School Authority is not under any legal obligation or binding to this
private arrangement of the Parents with the Bus Service Provider that is Friends Transport.

(Last date of submission of this Undertaking is on Thursday, 06 March 2025)
Sunnydale is not signing any agreement with the Bus Service provider Friends Transport to provide Bus
Service to the students to commute from home to reach Bashundhara Campus from the locations of their
choice as Pickup and Drop off points. Parents will make private arrangements with Friends Transport to
avail their Bus Service to reach Sunnydale Bashundhara Campus.
In that case the School Authority is not under any legal obligation or binding to this private arrangement
of the Parents with the Bus Service Provider that is Friends Transport. It also means no Bus Mother /
Bus Father will be assigned by the school on these Buses.
