Background to London School of Science & Technology (LSST) is a long established privately managed
company college in the Academic sector and has four campuses. Wembley, Elephant & Castle,
Luton (London) and Aston (Birmingham).

At the present time the College has approximately 4000 students studying courses on
Business and Management, Health and Social Care and IT and Computing.

Student fees are paid via the Public Purse and specifically via the Student Loan Company
where students need to apply for eligibility.

Information to be made LSST is one of the biggest colleges in the UK in the segments it operates. However, in

As a result, LSST’s senior management has decided to explore the potential of entering
new markets rather than just continue competing in a highly saturated market.

on the merits of adopting online/distance learning to enter new segments in the UK.
