Symptom
Actual year-end profit and loss statement postings are required by law.
The following reports are available to perform the required entries:
RFSUMB00;
FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS;
FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS_EHP4.
RFOPENPOSTING_FR (France)

Reproducing the Issue
Run program RFSUMB00, FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS or FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS_EHP4.
Cause
Different report should be run in case of:
classic /new GL,
postings are required only in non-leading ledger / in leading and non-leading ledgers.
Resolution
The report RFSUMB00 does not fulfill all the expectations coming from new GL.
This report was designed only for leading ledger closing and does not provide all the necessary information for segments or
profit centers.
A new report, FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS was developed for the new G/L accounting as of Release mySAP ERP 2004.
FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS was developed to create the year-end postings for the account balances of a certain local ledger only.
This program should be used if the year-end postings are only required in a local ledger (not in the leading ledger).
SAP has decided to unify the leading and non-leading ledger closing report into one report.
FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS_EHP4 fully respects the new structures of the new GL and can close the accounts of the leading as
well as non-leading ledger.
This report is available as of Release 604 (as part of EhP4).
