Day 5 Classroom Management
Day 5 Classroom Management
"Next, teach conflict resolution skills. Equip your students with the
tools they need to resolve disputes on their own. This includes
teaching them how to listen to each other’s perspectives, how to
express their own needs respectfully, and how to negotiate
solutions. Providing these skills not only resolves current
conflicts but also builds a foundation for better handling
challenges in the future."
"Be a role model for calm and respectful behavior. Students will
look to you as an example, so it’s essential to model the behavior
you want to see. When you respond to conflicts with patience,
respect, and composure, students are more likely to mirror that
behavior in their own interactions."
Every school should have staff members trained in first aid and
emergency response. Whether it’s treating minor injuries or
handling major emergencies, preparedness can save lives.
Regular drills for fire, earthquake, or lockdown situations are also
essential.
