Cascade Yarns® Fixation
98.3% Cotton / 1.7% Spandex
50 g (1.75 oz) - 100 yds (91.4m)
1 ball of color #2706 (Showcase Teal)
US 5/16" circular knitting needles
(for larger sizes)
US 5 DPN knitting needles
Stitch marker
Yarn needle
Gauge:
5.5 sts = 1" in Stockinette Stitch

Abbreviations:
BO = Bind Off
CO = Cast On
K = Knit
P = Purl
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together
P2tog = Purl 2 stitches together
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Rnd(s) = Round(s)
Begin Cast On and Ribbing:
CO 72 (80, 88, 96) sts.
Join in the round, careful not to twist.
Place stitch marker to mark beginning of rnd.
(K2, P2) 4 rnds.
Start Pattern:
Rnd 1: *(K2, P2); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 2: *(P1, K2, P1); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 3: *(P2, K2); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 4: *(K1, P2, K1); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Continue until 4.5 (5, 5.5, 6)" from CO edge.
Start decreases:
Rnd 1: *(K2, P2, K2, P2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 2: *(K2, P2, K1, K2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.

Rnd 4: *(K2, P1, P2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 5: *(K2, P2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 6: *(K1, K2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 7: *(K2tog); repeat from * to end of rnd.
Finishing:
Cut yarn and leave a 6" tail.
Weave yarn through remaining sts.
