1 : SOFTWARE
It is a collection of instructions ,data and programs that tell a computer how to
perform tasks .It consists of a application software and system software
KEY WAYS IN WHICH SOFTWARE IS USED FOR LEARNING
ONLINE COURSES : platforms like Canvas, and Blackboard provide
structured online courses with text,videos, quizzes and assignments
INTERACTIVE SIMULATIONS :software can create virtual environments
for students to practice real-world scenarios like medical simulations or
science experiments .In addition software provide interactive tools to
enhance engagement, personalize instruction deliver educational
content in various formats and facilitate collaboration
MONITOR
A monitor refers to the act of actively observing and assessing students
progress during an activity , allowing the teacher to identify areas where
students might be struggling , it is also a way to check in on learners to
ensure they are understanding the material and progressing effectively .
It is used to observe student engagement , like watching how students
are participating in activities if they are on task and if seem to be
actively involved in the learning process .It is also used to identify areas
of difficulty for example detecting common misconceptions , errors ,or
areas where students are struggling to understand the material by
listening to their response and observing their work
SMART PHONES
They are used as education apps where students can use apps to learn
languages , do math and more .They are also used for taking notes
where students can use their phones to take notes during lectures .
Smart phones are also essential for researching , this is where students
can use their phones to research topics online for example on google
platforms .
They are also crucial personalized learning where teachers can use
mobile phones to customize learning for each student . Students can
also use smart phones to take photos and document their learning and it
is called documenting learning. Students can use their phones as clickers
to give feedback to teachers.
TABLET
A tablet act as a versatile tool in learning by providing access to a wide
range of digital resources, enabling interactive learning experiences and
facilitating note taking . With a tablet students can access
textbooks ,articles and other educational content directly on their
tablets hence eliminating the need for heavy physical books ,this is
called digital access learning materials .
Tablets can facilitate collaborative learning through shared documents
and online discussion forums , students can also access and utilize videos
audio recordings and simulations to enhance understanding of complex
concepts . They are also useful in digital note-taking apps enable
students to easily write and organize notes with the option of research.
SMART BOARD
It is used in learning to present lessons in a dynamic and interactive way
allowing teachers to incorporate multimedia content like videos , images
and presentations , while enabling students to directly interact with the
material by writing or selecting materials on screen .
They are used for for interactive writing where students can write
directly on the board using their fingers or stylus to take notes . Smart
boards are used for visual presentations like display images clearly.
PROJECTOR
A projector is used in education include making lessons more engaging
and interactive , increasing student participation and understanding
hence enhancing collaboration and communication among students.A
projector is used also to display visual information on large screen
allowing teachers to present content like text and images for easy
understanding.
A SCANNER
A scanner is used in learning to digitalize physical documents like notes,
hence allowing students to easily organize,search and access their
learning materials digitally lead to improved study efficiency .Teachers
use scanners to grade papers electronically and provide feedback more
efficiently. Students can also scan completed assignments and submit
them digitally eliminating paper work.
A MOUSE
A mouse is primarily used in learning to navigate and interact with
digital content on a screen by clicking ,dragging, and scrolling . It is also
crucial in developing fine motor skills in younger learners when using
educational games and activities that require precise mouse control.It is
also essential for interactive learning as most most educational software
is designed to be mouse driven allowing users to select answers.

A computer is used for for researching ,update subject knowledge and
teaching skills ,develop lesson plans ,prepare additional instructional
material and prepare question banks .It is used also for online learning
such as through virtual classroom

It is used as document camera in educational settings it is primarily used
to visually capture and display close -up details of objects , or
demonstration in real time during lessons allowing teachers to share
information clearly with students ,particularly for science experiments .
