About the College
Nestled amidst the natural beauty along the Ganga canal, Dhanauri
P.G. College is located at latitude 29.85 and longitude 77.88 in Dhanauri
village, just 8 km from Haridwar and a 10-minute drive from Roorkee,
known as the "Educational Hub" of the region. Established 47 years ago, it
stands as one of the oldest educational institutions in Haridwar district,
contributing significantly to academic excellence.
The college offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate
programs. In the Faculty of Arts, courses include Hindi, English, Economics,
Sociology, Political Science and Fine Arts, along with undergraduate
programs in Sanskrit, Home Science, Education and History. The Faculty of
Science provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physics,
Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics.
Founded by Dr. Prithvi Singh Viksit, the institution has flourished
under the leadership of his son, Mr. Adesh Kumar Saini, secretary of the
managing committee, Dhanauri P.G. College.Through his dedicated efforts,
the college transitioned from a self-financed institution to a government-
recognized non-governmental college, marking a significant milestone for
the region and solidifying its role as a beacon of higher education.
The mission and core values of the college focuses on

Objectives of the Seminar

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) refers to the diverse and rich
traditions of knowledge that have evolved over thousands of years in
the Indian subcontinent. It encompasses a broad range of disciplines
including philosophy, science, mathematics, literature, art, history, and
spirituality.
The concepts embedded in IKS such as holistic health, sustainability
and ethical governance are becoming increasingly relevant in the
context of modern challenges like climate change, health crises, and the
search for meaning in a globalized world. There is growing recognition of
the need to integrate ancient wisdom with modern science and technology.

research paper or articles, on research and findings relevant to the theme are
invited. Selected research papers will be published in the form of Seminar
proceeding with ISBN and DOI number. The proceeding will be full peer
reviewed. Selected papers will be invited for oral presentations. After submission,
further change will not be entertained.
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACTS : A suitable Title (25 words max), author(s) with
affiliation(s), content with 250 words max, 4-6 keywords, full paper 2500-3000 words
