Questions 149-150 refer to the following newspaper feature.

Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

The musical Jumping Jubilee has debuted at the Elliot Theater. Here is what our readers are
saying.

Review 1: Thumbs Up
Written by Rishu Sharma
I’ve seen a lot of stage shows, and I can say that this one is in a league of its own. The
costumes were spectacular. I could see the impressive detail from the second row, but I’m sure
the colors were bold enough to be enjoyed all the way from the balcony. The lead’s singing
was amazing, and I loved the group dances.

Review 2: Thumbs Up
Written by Valerie Hudson
The show started late due to technical difficulties, and the storyline was somewhat confusing,
but I would still recommend it. Amy Silva is highly skilled and gave an unforgettable
performance as the main character. There were also lots of lighthearted moments that
children would enjoy.

149. What is suggested about Mr. Sharma? 150. What opinion do both reviewers share?
(A) He works in the theater industry. (A) That there were too many dance

Poster: Chelsea Laroche, Chief Operating Officer

You will all be glad to hear that our next flagship e-reader, the Exos, has just completed
another step on its journey to market. Since my last post, the software team successfully
loaded the prototypes with the operating system and apps. They did discover some bugs in
the font customization technology, but those have now been eliminated. The Exos’s other

reading app, created in partnership with KnowFast.

Now it is on to the next phase. As I write this, the prototypes are on their way to our facility
in Munich, where the quality assurance team will check their performance and durability. I
plan to be on-site during this process to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Afterwards,
the finalized product plans will be sent on to Forstech in China for mass production. It is the

Notice to Remington Call Center Employees:

During the week of November 13, all call center staff must undergo
the training that we hold every six months to help you to keep
your customer service skills polished.

You will take the training on a company laptop during your shift,
and it should take approximately one hour to complete the
modules. We are using the Educom software program, which just
hit the market last month. Users report that it is easy to navigate
through the program. Up to five employees can take the training
at the same time, and we ask you to sign up on the company Web
site for your preferred session. To do so, you will need to input
your employee ID number, the name of your team leader, and the
date on which you began working for us. You must pass a short
test at the end of the session, so we recommend taking notes as
you work through the modules.

Questions 176-180 refer to the following memo and form.

Memo

To: All Speedy Movers Staff

From: Tammy Maxfield
Date: January 9
Subject: Disposal of appliances

The management team at Speedy Movers has decided to add a new service option.
From February 1, we will dispose of up to 4 old appliances when customers move. The
service will be offered for free, with some exceptions, so we will actually lose money.
However, this change will help us to set ourselves apart, as competition in the moving
business has been increasing rapidly. This service will be offered only in Portland,
Salem, and Eugene, and only for in-town moves.

The items intended for disposal will need to be placed at the back of the truck so that
they do not interfere with unloading at the final destination. You will have to slightly
adjust your loading order, so we have created a brief instructional video that you must
watch. This is available from the employee portal on our Web site. Please note that
small appliances such as irons or blenders are excluded from the service.

I booked Barrington Hall for a company anniversary event, bringing together workers from
several branches. As I live and work in Galveston, all of the planning had to be done remotely,
but the attentive staff made this easy to do. The location is great because of all the hotels in the
neighborhood—I was able to stay just across the street from the hall. The only issue I would
mention is that in the ballroom you must have either all of the top lights on or none of them (and
use the much dimmer side lights). That meant we had to choose between the room being too
bright or too dark. Despite this, I would be happy to hold another event at Barrington Hall.

To Whom It May Concern:
After only two weeks of use, I had an issue with the Ziata-70 exercise bike that I ordered on
July 22. The bike arrived as scheduled on July 25, and the assembly process was easy.
However, on August 8, I noticed that the digital display was not as bright as it was originally.
I replaced the batteries, but this did not resolve the issue.
I followed the return instructions included with the package, and a courier picked up the
item on August 11. However, I never received a refund. I contacted your company by phone
using the number for returns and was assisted by Jamie Parsons. She asked for a copy of the
courier’s confirmation of delivery, which I sent. Nothing has happened since then. Could
you please look into this matter?

Hi, Benjamin.

I wanted to let you know that you won’t be needed for filming on May 26. Unfortunately, the
client had to cancel the plans for filming because the recent storm caused some flooding at the
intended site. I do still need you for the filming of the open day at our warehouse. Customers
will be able to see our equipment in person, and I’d like to make a video of that event for our

I also plan to purchase more video cameras if our loan from Baldwin Bank is approved. We
currently have 3 of the Estrada-360 model, which is the one that beginners can use. I’d like to
get more of those, unless you recommend a different brand. Your input would be very helpful.

WATSON ANTIQUES SPECIALTY SERVICES

Thank you for booking a specialty repair service with Watson Antiques. To ensure
that your pieces of jewelry reach us safely, please use the box and wrapping
provided.

Wrap each item loosely in the white tissue paper and then the air-filled plastic
sheeting. Each piece should be wrapped separately, including earrings. This is
because the metal edges of the pieces may scratch anything they rub against.

Complete and sign the contents list and include it in the box. After we receive your
package, we will call you the next day with a pricing estimate. Most work is
completed within 5–10 days, depending on the complexity of the task.

Watson Antiques Receipt of Items

Employees must complete the form in full for each package sent by a customer.
