2.1 INTRODUCTION

The above table indicates that 60 percent of the respondents are male and
the remaining 40 percent of the respondents are female.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (60 percent) of the respondents are
male.

The above table indicates that, 65 percent of the respondents belong to the
age group of upto 25 years, 23 percent of the respondents belong to the age group
of 26 to 35 years, 7 percent of the respondents belong to the age group of 36 to 45
years and the remaining 5 percent of the respondents belong to the age group of
above 45 years.

The above table indicates that out of total respondents taken for the study,
35 percent of the respondents are married and the remaining 65 percent of the
respondents are unmarried.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (65 percent) of the respondents
are unmarried.

The above table shows that, 2 percent of the respondents are illiterate, 20
percent of the respondents completed their school level, 58 percent of the
respondents completed their degree / diploma, 17 percent of the respondents
completed their post graduation and the remaining 3 percent of the respondents
completed professional degree.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (58 percent) of the respondents
completed degree / diploma.

The above table shows that, 15 percent of the respondents are house wife,
35 percent of the respondents are private employees, 7 percent of the respondents
are government employees, 4 percent of the respondents are doing business &
agriculturalists, 33 percent of the respondents are students and the remaining 2
percent of the respondents are professionalists.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (35 percent) of the respondents are
private employees.

The above table describes that, out of total respondents taken for the study,
43 percent of the respondents belong to the income level of below ₹ 20,000, 45
percent of the respondents belong to the income level of ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 40,000, 7
percent of the respondents belong to the income level of ₹ 40,001 to ₹ 60,000 and
the remaining 5 percent of the respondents belong to the income level of above
₹60,000.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (45 percent) of the respondents
belong to the income level of ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 40,000 per month.

The above table shows that, 55 percent of the respondents belong to the
family consist of upto 3 members, 42 percent of the respondents belong to the
family consist of 3 to 5 members and the remaining 3 percent of the respondents
belong to the family consist of above 5 members.
Hence, it is concluded that the majority (55 percent) of the respondents
belong to the family consist of upto 3 members.
