Course Objectives:
1 To comprehend the basic concepts, applications, and trends of wireless communication
systems.
2 To analyze different radio propagation mechanisms, mobile radio channels, frequency
reuse, interference management, and multiple access techniques in cellular systems
3 To explore the development and features of mobile communication technologies from
1G to 6G.
4 To describe recent wireless networks used along with mobile communication systems.

After completion of the course, the graduates will be able to …


CO1 Apply principles of signals to explore fundamentals of wireless communication,
including system requirements, propagation effects, and channel modeling.
CO2 Analyze the cellular structure and multiple access techniques used in mobile
systems to reduce spectrum usage and increase capacity
CO3 Examine the changes happened in wireless networks to the changing scenarios in
mobile communication.
CO4 Develop and implement small projects related to wireless communication
technologies, culminating in a detailed written report and oral presentations.
