Me: Sir, I do not have much experience in credit right now.

Q: After completing B.com(h) in 2018, you have not been doing anything.
Ans: Sir, currently I am pursuing from M.com from DSE.
Q: Why didn’t you pursue just after B.com?
Ans: After 2018, I gave 4 attempts of UPSC CSE.

Q: What was your optional?
Ans: Commerce and Accountancy
M2:
Q: Why didn’t you pursue M.com simultaneously?
Ans: I thought to pursue it in 2020 but due to Covid had to shift to hometown.
Chairman sir:
Q: You contracted diabetes early. What are the reasons?
Ans: I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015. It’s an auto-immune disorder in
which immunity is destroying its own pancreas cells.

Q: So you take insulin?
Ans: Yes sir.
Q: Since you have been studying accountancy and commerce, what areas are you
comfortable in?
Ans: Cash flow analysis and Accounting Ratios
Q: I’ll ask you more basic. What are the journal entries for trade discount and cash
discount?
Ans: I couldn’t answer properly. Took some time to answer the cash discount
entry. Got confused about the trade discount. I myself said that I am missing
something.
(just after getting out of the interview room, I remembered that there is no entry
done for trade discount) Facepalm!
M3:
Q: And where does Loss appears?
Ans: In the balance sheet, it can either be shown in Assets side or can be
subtracted from Reserves in liabilities side.
Q: What are the different types of leases? And how do you account for them?
M2 himself answered like operating lease, financial lease. Everyone laughed.
Ans: I answered a few things regarding it but later found that I was wrong.

Q: What is the trade composition of the country?
Ans: I started answering with India having a surplus in the services sector while
deficit in goods.
Q: (interrupted) What is the absolute level of the exports and imports in US
Dollars?
Ans: Although I read it, but couldn’t recall the exact figure at that time.
Q: What is the absolute level of GDP?
Ans: Answered in terms of both nominal and real GDP in Rupee terms.
Q: What are the targets?

Ans: CEA recently gave a target of $7 trillion GDP in 7 years.

Q. Where are we currently?
Ans: Around $3.5 trillion
Q: So we have to nearly double it in 7 years. What kind of growth rates will be
needed?
Ans: Answered a few things.
Q: So are we near to achieving?
Ans: Currently not. But the government is taking some measures to achieve it.

Q: What is the currency management function of RBI? What comes to your mind?
Ans: Answered.

Q: You were talking about the doubling of GDP. What are the measures that the
government is taking to improve GDP?
Ans: The current government is focusing on infrastructure. Was telling about
capex but sir interrupted.
Q: Tell the specific schemes.
Ans: PM Gati Shakti for the infrastructure sector. CGTMSE for boosting credit etc.

Ans: I answered that there is rural distress so it is for that.

I didn’t know.

Q: Leave it. Name 2 ratios that we look for the bank but don’t look for a
manufacturing company and vice versa. And ratios that we look for the
performance of the government but not the private sector.
