wealth, and everything a person could wish for. However, no matter how much he had, it was never enough. He
always craved more riches, more power, and more land. One day, he heard about a strange opportunity—there was
a piece of land where a person could claim as much as he could walk in a single day. But there was a condition—he
had to return to the starting point before sunset, or he would lose everything. Greedy for more land, Karim eagerly
took the challenge.

At dawn, he began walking, claiming more and more land as he went. With each step, his greed pushed him to go
farther. He saw fertile fields, flowing rivers, and vast forests—all of which could be his. He walked tirelessly under the
scorching sun, forgetting about food, water, and even his own health. The sun slowly moved toward the horizon, and
he realized he had ventured too far. Panic set in, but greed still urged him forward. As the sun neared its descent, he
turned back, running as fast as he could. His heart pounded, his legs ached, but he pushed himself forward.

Just as he reached the starting point, the sun dipped below the horizon. Exhausted, Karim collapsed to the ground
and breathed his last. The villagers, who had gathered to watch, buried him in a small grave—just six feet long.

The animals cheered for the tortoise while the hare stood there in disbelief. He had lost because of his
overconfidence and carelessness. The tortoise, on the other hand, had won because of his perseverance and
determination.

Nobody Believes a Liar

again, and the villagers came running, only to be fooled once more. This continued for some time, and soon,
people stopped believing his words.

One evening, as Rahim was tending to his sheep near the forest, a real tiger appeared. Terrified, he screamed
for help, “Help! A tiger is attacking my sheep!” But this time, no one came. The villagers, remembering his
past lies, assumed it was another trick. The tiger attacked the sheep, and Rahim barely escaped.

Heartbroken and ashamed, Rahim realized his mistake. His habit of lying had destroyed his credibility, and
when he truly needed help, no one trusted him. He returned to the village and apologized to everyone,
vowing never to lie again.

This story teaches us that honesty is crucial. When someone lies repeatedly, they lose the trust of others.
Even when they tell the truth, people won’t believe them. Therefore, it is important to always be truthful, as
trust, once broken, is difficult to regain.

together. “Break this,” he instructed. Each son tried with all his strength, but none of them could break the
bundle. Then the farmer untied the sticks and gave each son a single stick. This time, they broke the sticks

always fight among yourselves, others will take advantage of you, and you will lose everything. But if you
stand united, no one can defeat you.”

admired them, and they became successful farmers.

of water. The young boy quickly got up and went to the kitchen. However, he found that there was no water
in the house. Without a second thought, he took a clay pot and walked a long distance to fetch fresh water
from a nearby spring.

The night was cold, and the path was dark, but Bayazid did not think about his own comfort. All he cared
about was his mother’s well-being. After a long and tiring journey, he finally returned home with the water.
But by then, his mother had fallen back asleep.

Instead of waking her up, Bayazid stood beside her, holding the glass of water in his hands. He waited
patiently for hours, ready to serve her the moment she woke up. When morning arrived, his mother opened
her eyes and saw her son standing there with the water. Tears filled her eyes as she realized how much love
and respect he had for her. She raised her hands in prayer and asked for blessings upon him.

The bear sniffed around Karim, but since he was motionless, it thought he was lifeless and left. After the
bear disappeared into the forest, Amin climbed down from the tree and laughed. “What did the bear whisper
in your ear?” he asked jokingly.

Karim looked at him with disappointment and replied, “It told me to be careful of friends who abandon me
in times of danger.”

Saddened by his friend’s betrayal, Karim walked away, realizing that true friendship is not about words but
about actions. Amin regretted his selfishness, but it was too late—he had lost a true friend.

he could ever use, but his greed pushed him further. He ignored hunger, thirst, and fatigue.

By afternoon, he realized the sun was starting to set. Panic filled his heart—he had walked too far! He
turned back and ran as fast as he could. His body was weak, his legs trembled, but he refused to stop. Just as
the last ray of sunlight disappeared, he reached the starting point. But before he could celebrate, he collapsed

respected him. One day, after a heavy meal, the lion lay under a tree and fell asleep. A tiny mouse, searching
for food, accidentally ran over his paw. The lion woke up with a roar and caught the mouse with his sharp
claws.

“Please, mighty lion, spare my life! I am small and weak, but maybe one day I can help you,” the mouse
pleaded. The lion laughed. “You? Help me? That’s ridiculous! But since you amuse me, I will let you go.”
With that, he released the mouse, who quickly ran away.

Days passed, and one day, while hunting, the lion fell into a hunter’s trap. A strong net wrapped around him,
and no matter how much he struggled, he couldn’t break free. He roared for help, but the other animals were
too afraid to approach.Hearing the lion’s cries, the little mouse rushed to the scene. Without hesitation, he
started gnawing at the ropes. The tiny teeth of the mouse worked tirelessly, and soon, the net tore apart. The
lion was free!

Humbled, the lion looked at the tiny mouse and said, “I was wrong to underestimate you. Even the smallest
creature can help the mightiest of beings.”

From that day on, the lion and the mouse became friends. The story teaches us that strength is not always
about sizs. —kindness and intelligence matter too. Even those who seem weak have value, and we should never
underestimate others.
