Humidity Test
Scope of the test:
Product Validation
Test Method:
- Environmental chamber capable of maintaining 38°C and 90±5% relative humidity, and large enough to permit
air circulation between the test samples
- Condition the test sample, at 38°C±2°C and 90±5% relative humidity for 400 hours ± 8hours.
- The test samples shall then be room conditioned for a minium of eight hours.
- After humidity test, condition and deploy IC modules as specified in the module
deployment test as per Clause 1.1
Acceptance Criteria:
- After the test, the voltage drop between the electrical contact points shall not be more than 150mV maximum at
a current of 1 Ampere
- The post deployment requirements as per clause 1.1
- SAB & any of its component shall not exhibit any fragmentation or separation of pieces from its attachment /
assembly.
- The fabric shall not rip, tear, separate or illustrate any damage in the material or seam
- The tear seam opening time should be as per specifications as mentioned in The design document as agreed by
The SAB supplier, Restraints integrator and TML.
- The airbag deployment time should be per specifications as mentioned in The design specifications by TML and
airbag system integrator
- component & assy should maintain structural integrity.
