COUNSELLING COMMENCEMENT LETTER

Dear Applicant,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the YENEPOYA (Deemed to be University)!
You will be receiving calls from our counselors for confirmation of data or completing missing
information. Based on preliminary screening and scrutiny of your application we will be sending you
call letters for counseling. Kindly take note of the following information.
1. Counselling Commencement Details:
• Your individual counselling date shall be intimated via email and call after 20th August
2023. The counselling session is scheduled to commence on 15th September 2023. You are
required to attend the counselling session as per the date allocated to you at 09:30 am to
03:00 pm.
• Please ensure that you have cleared the 1st-semester fee and one year's hostel fee (if
opting for hostel accommodation) during the counselling.
• Kindly bring along all the original certificates required for your admission to the university.
2. Issuance of Bonafide Letter and Loan Paper
• Bonafide Letter and Loan Paper will be provided during the day of the counselling, upon
submission of all the relevant documents and payments towards the Tuition Fees (1st
Semester) and Hostel Fees (1st Year).
Admission will be confirmed subject to satisfying proof of eligibility criteria and fulfillment of all
identification and qualifying documents and performance in personal interview.
I. Your certificates and documents would be verified at the registration desk
II. You will also show proof of your extracurricular activities (if any)
III. Documents to be produced in original at the time of counselling along with 2 sets of copies:
a) Counselling Call Letter
b) 10th Marksheet
c) 12th Marksheet
d) Transfer certificate

e) Migration Certificate (Non-Karnataka & other than Karnataka Board)
f) Conduct certificate from the Institution which you have last attended
g) Passport & Stamp Size Photos (Only Formal Attire) (03 passports size + 03 stamp
size)
h) Copy of Aadhaar Card
i) Copy of Domicile/Nativity Certificate
j) Copy of Birth Certificate
k) Copy of Caste Certificate
l) Copy of Income Certificate
IV. The balance Annual Tuition & Hostel fee to be paid online/offline mode
V. Stamp Paper & Notary charges (Mandatory Indemnity)
3. Hostel Accommodation:
• Yenepoya University offers separate hostels for boys and girls.
• The official hostel for girls and boys includes food, accommodation, electricity bill, cleaning
& maintenance, and transportation.
• Girls have only 4-sharing accommodation, which is Rs.1,20,000 per year along with
Rs.10,000 refundable deposit.
• Boys have the option of choosing between a 4-sharing and a 6-sharing accommodation. The
cost for the 4-sharing hostel is Rs. Rs.1,20,000 per year along with Rs.10,000 refundable
deposit, and for the 6-sharing hostel, it is Rs. Rs.1,10,000 per year along with Rs.10,000
refundable deposit.
• Both boys' and girls' hostels are non-AC.
4. Token Advance for Hostel Booking:
• If you wish to stay in the university hostel, please transfer a token advance of Rs. 10,000 to
the below-mentioned account number before August 15th. This amount will be adjusted
against the annual hostel fee during the counselling process.

• Once payment is processed towards hostel, the hostel arrangements will be completed and
allocated on the same day of counselling.
• Please note that hostel accommodation is not mandatory, and it will only be provided to
students who transfer the token advance on or before August 15th. Any hostel inquiries post
August 15th will be considered based on availability.
5. Dress Code:
• During counselling and classes, the attire is strictly formal wear until the university uniform

is provided.
• Measurements for the uniform will be taken during the counselling session.
• The UG / Degree uniform is Free of Cost.
Note: Hospitality students will be informed about additional charges for their Kitchen Kit
and Chef/Kitchen/Class attire before counselling, and these charges must be cleared during
counselling.
6. Hostel Amenities:
• Hostel students will be provided with a mattress, pillow, bucket, mug, plate, tumbler, and
spoon at an additional cost.
