ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

Summary of Individual Findings


Working in your teams, you will develop a comprehensive Organizational Behavior analysis for
an organization of your choice. With the help of the concepts learned in this course teams will
critically analyze an OB System/ sub-systems utilizing secondary data research (peer-reviewed
journals, published case-studies, company websites, google scholar - research articles, videos,
newspaper/ magazine articles) to identify problems and recommend constructive improvements.
Remember to not only describe what the organization is doing in each of these areas, but also to
analyze how well they are doing in each area, which includes looking at how the competition
might be doing. Good analysis considers both the positive and negative issues when looking at
an organization.
Each team needs to find an organization to focus on, local or international, small or big, product
or service industry, etc. and each team member needs to focus on one of the following topics to
cover within the organization.

Your presentation and report should include the following items:
• Purpose of the research
• Review of literature and industry comparisons (comparing the chosen company’s sub-
system with a benchmarked organization)
• Personal critical analysis
• Key findings and final recommendations – strengths, developmental opportunities,
recommendations
• Conclusion – summary, key findings, implications
• References
Please Note:
• Submit a between 15 to 50 (+/- 10%) page report.
• You must include a minimum of 10 APA-formatted scholarly citations.
• All sources should be properly cited and referenced in APA style, 7th edition.
• Submit your work on eLearn (You will see the title of the assignment: “Team Project
Report”).
• Deadline to submit the final group report is Mar 30th, @11:59 pm.
• ONLY group representatives need to submit the document on eLearn.
• Please include all the names in the title page.
• Presentation will be a video presentation done by all the team members in group using
MS Teams. All group members need to be present in the video. All group members need
to have their cameras on. You need to share screen, put your slides on, start your
presentation, and record your video presentation session. One person per group will
submit the link to the video on eLearn page. One person per group will also need to
submit the slides on eLearn page.
• Prepare a no more than a 10 to15 minute group online video presentation.
o Your group video presentations need to be submitted on eLearn by Mar 30th,
@11:59 pm.
• The term-project will be graded as 25% per instructions in your course outline.
o Report (15%)
o Presentation (10%)
