PROJECT PROFILE:

Project - Title NexentaFusion

NexentaFusion is an software which helps us to manage multiple NexentaStor


appliances,
It offers various features like creating a pool , managing pools,creating filesytem,
creating volumes, mapping volumes ,HA ,Snapshot,data protection and data replication
which gives end user application to run seamlessly with no down time.

It supports iSCSI and FC protocols. It uses flash-based cache to increase the performance
of IOPS.
Roles & Responsibilities: -

 Installing The firmware for Storage controllers and drives


 Filer setup configuration and test bed preparation
 Validating the firmware reliability for drives and shelves
 Validating Drive & IOM Firmware with different OEM’s
 Validating the functionality of Drives (SAS, SSD, SATA, Nvme)
 Creating. Software RAID and Hardware RAID on Storage arrays and
checking the functionality by running the IOPS
 Measuring IOPS, Throughput with different values of Queue depth and
Transfer Length
 Creating the Volumes and Mapping LUN’s to the target & checking
HA ,takeover and giveback features of Storage Array
 Performance comparison between different vendor drives.
 Firmware updates between different version of images to check reliability
of firmware.
 Involved in execution and fixing test scripts. And writing scripts in python
for the new features/subtasks.
 Creation and execution of test procedures and test plans for new
functionalities.
 Involved in Executing performance, Regression, sanity and AdHoc testing
 Analyzing test results and updating them on Qtest.
 Involved in Raising JIRA’s and tracking it for end resolution.
 Defect verification
