TRANS-AMF MCU FIRMARE UPDATE

ATTENTION!!! DURING UPDATE PROCESS, ALL THE PARAMETER SETTINGS ON


THE DEVICE WILL BE LOST.

1- To start update process “Stop mode” led, "Mains OK" led and “Mains breaker” led must
be lighting.
Note: If it is not possible to give mains supply to device, following changes should be done:
• To force "Mains OK" and “Mains breaker” leds to light, “Mains Failure Detection” should be set as “0-Disable”
• Any Configurable Digital Input’s “Dis,user conf.or list” parameter should be set as
“2- Select From List”.
• On the same input “Select from list” parameter should be set as “2-Auxiliary Mains Fail”.

2- To achieve firmware update, installation should be done in 2 steps.

3- To start 1st step of the update process, please connect the device to Computer using USB
cable.
4- Please, Start TRANS-AMF PC software and connect to device.
5- Please click “Device Software Update → Update Software“.
6- For the 1st step of the update, please choose
"TRANS-AMF_DEF_XX_VX_XX.txt" as DEFAULT installation file.

7- Please start updating process.


8- Update process will start on PC software. (Update process will take 5-10 minutes.)

9- After updating process through PC software, the device will boot up and install all
necessary settings and messages automatically. "INSTALLING FW…" message will be
shown on device screen.
10- After installation process of 1st FW, the device will show "FW Installed, please Install 2nd
FW"message for 5 seconds.

11- After message was shown, screen will be off.


12- When the device screen and backlight is off, please connect to device with PC software for
2nd step of update operation. When the connection is established, PC software will open the
file selection screen automatically. Please choose "TRANS-AMF_MAIN_XX_VX_XX.txt" as
MAIN installation file.

13- Please start updating process.(Update process will take less then 10 minutes.)
14- After completing update process succesfully, device will start up as normal.

After the first boot up of the device, following settings should be done:
-Set the “Technician setting->System->Default settings->Reset Factory sets” parameter to
“YES”.
-Set the “Technician setting->Engine->Maintenance->Maintenance okay” parameter to
“YES”.
- Press the "RESET" button on the device.

Note: After firmware installation, all the parameters will be set to factory defaults. Please set
the parameters as needed.
PROBLEMS THAT MAY BE FACED DURING UPDATE
OPERATION
15- If the wrong file is loaded to device. The device will show “UPDATE ERROR!!! Please
install 1st FW again" message. If you see this message, please try updating the device carefully
by following above instructions.

16- Update process might be interrupted in conditions like, Loss of power supply or removal
of USB cable. If this occurs, please repeat updating process by following the instructions
carefully.
