ART EXHIBIT NARRATIVE REPORT

My art exhibit titled “A Cup Of Coffee” aims to showcase artwork that explores the theme
“Embark On A Journey of Artistic Discovery.” My Art Exhibit aims to provide a platform for
new artists to display my work and spark discussions about the theme “Embark On A Journey of
Artistic Discovery.” Our exhibits feature a variety of paintings, sculptures, and multimedia
installations.

The theme of the exhibit was chosen because it empowers the creativity of each of us as students
and aims to inspire people and ourselves to be creative and experiment with our own arts. It
encourages us to think of new ideas and express ourselves through art.

The team conducted a brainstorming session to generate ideas for the theme, and also conducted
research on the impact of artistic discovery on mental development and creativity to better
understand the concept.

The ICT room was our chosen venue. This venue was chosen because it allows us to showcase
our art to our fellow students. The benefit of this is to have a neat and spacious area for students
to enter and choose the art they like according to their experience and beliefs. The team applied
for the necessary permits and planned the exhibit layout to ensure the safety and order of the
visitors and the artworks.

The team ordered frames to ensure the proper display of the artworks. Some of us may just
borrow from our neighbors, while others may just use unused stock. The team was divided into
the following roles: The supervisors for the visitors who will choose what they like from our
works, the cleaners after the exhibit, and the helpers to arrange the classroom that will be used
for the exhibit of our works.

The artists started thinking of ideas for their pieces based on the theme Embark On A Journey of
Artistic Discovery and The inspiration for the artists was different things like their personal
experiences, events in society, nature, and others. But my inspiration is based on what I'm used
to, and my experiences or what I'm experiencing now. Each artist or each of us developed their
own concept based on the theme Embark On A Journey of Artistic Discovery through emotion,
and belief according to the decision of our hearts.

As an artist, we use different types of materials and techniques in the construction of our
blackboards, In my exhibit, I used colored pencil to make it my coloring, Board paper A4. As an
artist, I received a challenge in my creation of my art, I had a hard time finding an easy drawing
on the internet, while I was doing it, I had a hard time sketching it and couldn't get the size of
each line correct my drawing.

As an artist, some of my teams helped me search the internet to draw easier, while my other team
helped me sketch it. The team set up artworks in painting and sculpting to ensure and reflect its
particular theme. The team thought of its shapes, sizes and proportions, colors that could be
contrasted, and its texture to enhance the viewers' experience.

The team promoted the exhibit by spreading the word about our exhibits; others spread the poster
and stuck it on the wall, and spreading it on social media like facebook and instagram so we can
ask for support from others person. The team and each of us encountered challenges because the
team had limited time and resources to spread the exhibit to more people and limited the team's
ability to convey their message and ideas to the audience due to time limitations. or expressive
ability.

The opening of the exhibit began in September 10,2024, in the morning, but before its opening
began, there was a collaboration to organize our exhibits according to their grouping such as
combined natures, and so on, and our exhibit ended in the afternoon, The next day, each of us
helped to organize and clean the room we used.

Artists and teams gave speeches about their works and the audience gave happy, loud and proud
applause to show their support for the artist who gave a speech on his art. We compiled and
conducted a survey to gather feedback from attendees. The survey of some may contain
questions about its color, texture, size, layout, display, and other things related to the art exhibit.
With this, we can show our gratitude for answering their survey.

The exhibit had many students attend and received the ability to inspire and educate visitors and
increase knowledge. The exhibit succeeds in Boosting Inspiration among the visitors, which the
exhibit inspires and motivates the visitors. The experience in planning and conducting the exhibit
taught me the lesson that suffering and persistence in something can give me a good result or
outcome, through my effort I was able to organize it even more and make it even more beautiful.
The experience has improved my creativity skills, this experience has improved my ability to be
creative and create new ideas. Next time, I will do better by adding more visual aids and
interactive elements so that I can improve the strengthening of my communication with others,
even myself and my arts. My experience in creating art pieces and the exhibit improved my
drawing and it further strengthened my understanding of details and showing emotions and
messages in artworks. My experience strengthened my communication skills with my teams and
made me more accountable to my teams, even to myself.
