Introduction

Spirofy™ is a compact, rechargeable battery operated and portable

diagnostic spirometer. Its ergonomic and user-friendly design allows
the device to be used in a wide range of clinical settings. Spirofy™ is a
pneumotach-device spirometer, where a pneumotachometer converts
the flow of gases through it into a proportional signal of pressure
difference on either side of a central mesh whose design ensures a
signal linearity over a range of flow rates with a minimum dead space.

The features offered by Spirofy™ include-

• Measures forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), forced

vital capacity (FVC), FEV1/FVC, peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR),
forced expiratory flow at 25% to 75% of forced vital capacity (FEF25-
75)

• Provides post-bronchodilator comparison

The user can share, save and print the report.
