V. Read the passage and choose the correct answer A, B, C, or D to each question.
The phrase “healthy lifestyle” is the definition of how you should live if you want to get the
healthiest body you can, one that both looks good and feels good. You know the obvious behaviors that
describe someone who is healthy and takes care of themselves.
A healthy person doesn’t smoke, eats healthy foods with plenty of fruits, vegetables and fiber and,
of course, exercises regularly. A healthy person also knows how to manage stress, gets good quality sleep
each night, doesn’t drink too much, doesn’t sit too much, does everything in moderation all the time.
When you look at everything that could possible make healthy lifestyle, you can see just how hard all of
those things are in our current world.
There is no such thing as a “bad” food, but there are some foods you should try not have regular
basis. Fast food refers to food that can be prepared and served quickly. It is popular as a food is
inexpensive, convenient, and tastes good. Because fast food is high in sodium, trans fat, and cholesterol, it
isn’t something you should eat often.
The good news is you don’t have to change everything at the same time. In fact, the trick to
healthy living is making small changes - taking more steps each day, adding fruits to your cereal, having
an extra glass of water, or saying no to that second helping of buttery mashed potatoes. One thing you can
do right now to make your lifestyle healthier is to move more.

V. Read the passage and choose the correct answer A, B, C, or D to each question.
Nowadays, it is becoming more common for individuals or nuclear families to live separately,
rather than with extended family members. However, in my opinion, living in an extended family can
offer many advantages.
On the one hand, nuclear families can provide benefits such as more focused attention from
parents and reduced household expenses. With fewer family members, parents can spend more time
teaching and guiding their children, which can positively impact their development. Additionally, with
fewer people to support, parents may have more financial resources to invest in things like education and
healthcare.
On the other hand, extended families can offer many advantages as well. For example, in times of
need, there will always be someone available to help. When facing a financial burden or other difficult
situation, other family members can provide support and assistance. Additionally, living with extended
family members provides the opportunity to build stronger relationships and spend more quality time
together. In some cases, extended families may also pool their resources to help each other financially,
which can reduce individual financial burdens.
In conclusion, while nuclear families can offer some benefits, I believe that living in an extended
family can be a better option for many people. The support and sense of community that come with
living in a large family group can be valuable and help individuals to feel more comfortable and secure in
their daily lives.

V. Read the passage and choose the correct answer A, B, C, or D to complete each sentence.
More and more people are living in cities. In an effort to prevent rapidly growing urban areas
from collapsing under their own weight, cities around the world are increasingly taking an intelligent
approach to how they organize and plan their traffic, energy supply and administrative systems. The right
technology is crucial for creating these “smart cities”.
It is estimated that the world’s population will reach 9.7 billion by the year 2050, with 68% living
in urban regions. In order to ensure the future coexistence of those living in such densely populated areas,
there are numerous challenges that those who bear responsibility for modern cities need to address. With
more and more people living in increasingly crowded spaces, how can we make sure that we have clean
air and reduce waste? How can we facilitate mobility for millions of people? And how can we ensure that
administrative structures are in place and there is universal healthcare?
One solution is to apply modern technologies to achieve a comprehensive “renewal” of today’s
cities. It is the rare urban planner who does not dream of the advantages of smart cities. For experts, a
smart city represents the integration of information technologies and data into both existing and new
infrastructure systems with the goal of enabling those in urban areas to live together sustainably,
efficiently and in social harmony, despite growing population density. But what exactly will the city of
the future look like? And what technologies are already making urban life smarter?
