The Committee shall recommend appropriate measures in each case to the Chairperson of the Senate

for awarding the punishment.


List of penalties for common types of cases under UFM:

Note: In case of entering in the Examination Hall with mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets or
keeping it surrounding the area of Examination Hall (even in Washroom) it will be seized and as a fine
an amount of Rs. 5000/- will be charged. The mobile phone and the electronic gadget will be returned
to the student/scholar only after depositing the fine.

The Senate may or may not recommend a student, who is found guilty of some major offence, to the
Board of Governors for the award of a degree even if he/she has satisfactorily completed all the
academic requirements.
