Vacancy Notification for Recruitment to Project Posts purely on temporary/contractual
basis under ICMR-funded project
The following posts are to be filled purely temporary basis for the ICMR- Funded Project,
“Developing & Implementing Effective Intervention delivery strategies of the Anemia
Mukt Bharat program 2.0 to reduce prevalence of Anemia amongst vulnerable
populations in selected districts of India-An Implementation research study (PRAKASH)
– Precision Driven Response for Anemia Control and Sustainable Health” under Principal
Investigator, Dr Pankaj Prasad, Additional Professor, Department of Community & Family
Medicine, AIIMS Bhopal.

Important Information:
1. All the educational qualifications/certificates shall be from the recognized
Board/University.
2. All the experience gained shall be preferably from the Govt. Organizations shall be
counted after the date of completion of Minimum Essential Qualification. Experience
from reputed national/international organizations will also be considered.
3. Experience shall be from the relevant field/area, as required for the study of the Project
concerned.
4. All community certificates should be issued by the authorized officers of the Govt.
5. The required relevant Field/Specialization may be mentioned in the bracket against the
position that is to be filled.
6. Job Description: To provide assistance in conducting the project in the form of data
collection in the study area, quality assurance, microplanning & supervision, taking
qualitative interviews, training of field workers, procurement and maintenance of tools
& equipment, meeting and liaising with government officials, financial record-keeping
and other tasks assigned by PI. For Statistician: all the above and data management
including - data entry, cleaning, analysis, interpretation of results, and other tasks
assigned by PI.
7. The employee would need to have a valid driver’s license for a two-wheeler & car for
a two-wheeler/car for travel related to the project.
8. Time of Reporting: All the candidates should report at 9:00 am on the date of the
interview (02.04.2025).
9. Mode of selection: Written test and Interview by a competent selection panel.
10. Reporting Venue: Room No 26, Department of Community & Family Medicine,
Second Floor, Medical College Building, AIIMS Bhopal.
11. The Written test and/or interview would be conducted in the subject areas of Research
Methodology, Human Resources & Financial Management, and Social Science
Research with a focus on Anemia, Biostatistics, and Data analysis
12. Place of work: Sehore and Bhopal Districts of Madhya Pradesh
13. Tenure- 11 Months (May be extended up to 42 months as per subject to performance
and further approval of the project duration by the funding agency)
14. Age Concession: Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates,
Retired government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and ex-
servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from
time to time. Age relaxation to the extent of services rendered in the research projects
will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

18. Process of Application
a. Interested candidates may download the application form from the AIIMS Bhopal
website. Scanned copy of filled applications along with CV and all other
relevant documents should be emailed to

b. Additionally, the candidates must ALSO fill out the Google form (Link:

23:55 Hrs).
c. Both the submission of SCANNED APPLICATION FORM with CV and all
other relevant documents via email, AND the entries GOOGLE FORM must
be completed to be considered for the Written Test and /or Interview.
d. Scanned copy of application downloaded from AIIMS Bhopal website and duly
filled will be accepted.
e. Candidates kindly ensure their eligibility for the given post.
f. The last date of submission of the form (31/03/2025) would be used as the cut-
off for calculation of age to consider eligibility.
g. Incomplete applications or applications without a prescribed format or received
after the due date will NOT be considered.

24. Shortlisted candidates must report with the following documents on the day of the
Interview.

of birth (birth certificate/ class 10th certificate), eligibility qualification mark sheets,
degrees, experience certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), qualifying degree
registration with the statutory council (if applicable), and other relevant
testimonials.

25. No Walk-In forms will be entertained on the date of the interview.
26. No enquires shall be entertained in this regard after the due date.
27. Criteria for Conducting Written Test and Shortlisting
a) Written Test: A written test will be conducted on 02.04.2025 followed by an
Interview
b) Qualifying Score Criteria: A minimum score of 40% for UR/OBC/EWS and
35% for SC/ST is required to qualify for the written test.
c) Final Selection: It will be determined by the combined score of the Written test
and Interview
d) Scheme of Test and Interview:
A. Written Test: MCQ and Skill Test/ SAQ each covering topics on Research
Methodology, Human Resource & Financial Management, Anemia,
Anemia Mukt Bharat Program, & Social Science Research. There will be
no negative marking.
B. Tie-Breaker: In the event of tied written test scores, the candidate with the
earlier date of birth will be ranked higher.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility and Qualifications:
1.1 It is the candidates’ responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the
prescribed qualifications and experience. Any misinformation detected at any stage will
make the candidate liable for legal action. Permission to appear in the selection process
does not approve the eligibility of the candidate. Even after qualifying for the selection
process, the candidate may be rendered disqualified at the time of document verification
if he/she doesn’t fulfill essential eligibility criteria.
2. Contractual Nature of the Position:
2.1. Appointments are on a contract basis for an externally funded project, with no claim to
regular posts at AIIMS Bhopal or Funding Agency. The duration is project-specific, and
employment may be extended or terminated at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
2.2. The contract automatically expires at the end of the specified period unless mutually
renewed. Either party can terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
3. Remuneration and Leave:
3.1. Consolidated salaries may vary, with no other allowances beyond the agreed salary. Leave
entitlement will be governed by the institutional policy for extramural research projects.
4. Application and Selection Process:
4.1. Candidates must submit complete applications, including CVs and required certificates as
mentioned above. Incomplete or incorrect submissions will be rejected.
4.2. A valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for communication.
4.3. Updates regarding results will be available on the AIIMS Bhopal website, and no individual
intimation will be sent.
4.4. No individual intimation may be sent by the AIIMS Bhopal to applicants. It will be the
responsibility of applicants to keep abreast of the developments by visiting institute website
regularly
4.5. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview. Interviews may be
conducted in person or via videoconferencing.
5. Responsibilities and Conduct:
5.1. Candidates employed in government or other funded research projects must provide a "No
Objection Certificate" from their employer
5.2. Private practice is prohibited, and candidates are expected to adhere to institute rules and
disciplinary conduct. Candidates may be posted at rural or field sites as per project needs.
5.3. The decision of the competent authority in the selection process is final. Any form of
canvassing or submission of false information will lead to disqualification.
6. Miscellaneous:
6.1. The Institute will not provide accommodation.
6.2. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
6.3. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false of if the
candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to his appointment,
he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by
the appointing authority.
6.4. If the selected candidate doesn’t report for joining, candidates next in the waiting list from
this recruitment process itself will be offered to join as per their order in the waiting list.
6.5. All disputes will be subject to jurisdictions of Court of Law at Bhopal.
