Essay Draft: My Four Year in High School: A Journey of

Growth (Module 2)

High school was an important part of my life. It was a time

when I learned a lot about myself and the world around me.
When I first started as a freshman, I felt a mix of excitement
and nervousness. I was excited to meet new friends and
learn new things, but I was also scared because I didn’t
know many people and the school was so enormous. On the
first day, I got lost in the hallways. I felt anxious and unsure
of where to go. However, I quickly learned that it is okay to
ask for help. I found some older students who were friendly.
They showed me where my classes were, and I began to feel
more comfortable in my new environment.

As I moved on to my sophomore year, I learned about

responsibility. At first, I had some trouble with my grades. I
didn’t do my homework sometimes. Because of this, I got a
warning from my teachers about my grades. This warning
made me realize that I needed to do better in school. I
decided to change my habits. I started using a planner to
keep track of my homework and tests. This planner helped
me stay organized and manage my time better. Instead of
waiting until the last minute to study, I began to study a little
bit every day. This change made a big difference in my
grades and helped me feel less stressed.

In my junior year, I decided to join more extracurricular

activities. This was a big change for me because I was shy
and didn’t like speaking in front of people. Joining more
extracurricular clubs was a challenge, but it also helped me
grow and come a long way. I learned how to express my
thoughts clearly and argue my points. At first, I was nervous,
but as time went on, I started to enjoy participating in
extracurricular clubs. My confidence grew, and I felt proud
of myself for trying something new. I learned that joining
clubs and activities can make high school more enjoyable
and help me learn new skills. I benefited from them.

By the time I reached my senior year, I felt already for the

next steps in my life. I looked back at my high school years
and saw how much I had grown and changed. Senior year for
me was relaxing and boring for me at the same time. I
started thinking about college and what I want to do in the
future. I learned to balance my schoolwork with my social
life. I spent time with my friends, but I also made sure to
finish my assignment on time. High school taught me to be
strong and to set goals for myself. I realized that hard work
and dedication are important for achieving success in life.

In conclusion, my four years in high school taught me many

valuable lessons. I learned about responsibility, the
importance of joining activites, and how to prepare for the
future. Each experience helped me become a better person.
I am thankful for all the challenges I faced during high school
because they helped me grow. I feel more prepared for the
next chapter in my life and excited about what lies ahead.
