Three Wishes Gone Wrong

One sunny afternoon, the siblings Amelia and James found an old antique shop
they hadn’t seen before. The shop's dusty windows were filled with strange
objects, but they noticed a glowing golden bottle with detailed Arabic designs.
Curious, they went inside, where an elderly antique dealer welcomed them. “Ah,
the bottle,” he said with a mysterious smile. “It’s rare and ancient but it holds
secrets you might not be ready for.” Amelia admired its beauty, and despite the
warning, they bought it for $10 and took it home, excited to put it in their room.

Later that evening, as they examined the bottle, it started to shake. Suddenly,
thick mist burst out of it, turning into a genie with glowing eyes. “You have three
wishes,” the genie said, “but remember, every wish comes with consequences.”
Ignoring the warning, James quickly made the first wish: endless money. Money
started appearing, filling the room, and wrecking the furniture. Their second wish
was for fame, but the constant attention soon became too much, leaving them
tired and unhappy. Realizing the genie’s warnings were true, Amelia decided to
wait on their last wish. “Let’s be careful this time,” she told James.

Days turned into weeks, and tension grew between the siblings as they argued
about what the last wish should be. One night, after a heated argument, James
shouted angrily, “I wish Amelia would just disappear!” The genie’s eyes glowed,
and Amelia vanished into thin air. When James woke up the next morning, her
bed was empty, and her belongings were gone as if she had never existed. He
searched everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found.

In the corner of the room, the bottle sat quietly, its faint glow almost like it was
mocking him. James finally understood the old man’s strange warning and the
genie’s words. Feeling sad and guilty, he realized what his quick wish had cost, but
it was too late. He was all alone now, thinking about what he had done, missing
Amelia more than ever.
