➢ Narayan Murthy: Co-founder of Infosys

Narayana Murthy was born on August 20, 1946, in Mysore, India. He grew
up in a middle-class family, which instilled in him the values of hard work
and education. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from
the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and later obtained a Master’s
degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. Before founding
Infosys, Murthy worked at various organizations, including the Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and as a systems programmer at a
multinational company in France.

In 1981, he co-founded Infosys with six other engineers, establishing a


company that aimed to provide high-quality software services to clients
globally. Narayana Murthy is a distinguished Indian entrepreneur and the co-
founder of Infosys, a global leader in IT services and consulting. His
visionary leadership and commitment to ethical business practices have
significantly influenced the Indian IT industry and inspired countless

Industries Limited (RIL).

Mukesh Ambani was born on April 19, 1957, in Aden, Yemen. He is the son
of Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Industries. He completed his
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical
Technology, Mumbai, and pursued an MBA from Stanford University,
although he left the program to join his family business. Mukesh Ambani is a
prominent Indian entrepreneur and the chairman and managing director of
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), one of the largest conglomerates in India.
His leadership has significantly transformed the Indian business landscape,
particularly in the telecommunications and petrochemical sectors. Mukesh
joined Reliance Industries in 1981, where he initially worked on the
company’s petrochemicals division.

In 2002, he became the chairman of Reliance Industries after the death of his
father, Dhirubhai Ambani. Mukesh Ambani is known for his visionary
approach, focusing on innovation, technology, and customer-centric
strategies. His initiatives have aligned with the Indian government's vision of
a Digital India, promoting digital access and connectivity. Mukesh Ambani is

Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, India. He hails from
the Tata family, known for its significant contributions to Indian industry and
philanthropy. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from
Cornell University and also attended the Harvard Business School for an
advanced management program. Ratan Tata joined the Tata Group in 1962,
initially working at Tata Steel, where he gained valuable experience in the
manufacturing sector. In 1991, he became the chairman of Tata Sons,
succeeding J.R.D. Tata, and began a transformative journey for the group.

Ratan Tata is a prominent Indian industrialist and the former chairman of


Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, one of India's largest and
oldest conglomerates. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding the
Tata Group's global footprint and diversifying its business interests across
various sectors. Ratan Tata is known for his visionary approach, focusing on
innovation, sustainability, and ethical business practices. His leadership style
emphasizes empathy, inclusiveness, and a commitment to improving the lives
