-Find inspirations from ideas. Hit up pinterest, google, ANYTHING. Find a

referance, and then make it into YOUR version!!!
-To do that you will look for assets, there's so many! You can buy OR there are
1000s of free assets!

*Places to find those assets: -Booth: https://booth.pm/en

-Jinnxy: https://jinxxy.com/
-Sketchfab (READ VERY CAREFULLY about the
product, it's not a traditional place to get assets, ALWAYS be vigilent):
https://sketchfab.com/
-Unity Store: https://assetstore.unity.com/

-Download: Blender, Unity Hub, Creator Companion.

-Open Blender (make sure you get CATS for Blender).
-Delete the camera, square cube and light source in the scene.
-Click the wrench button next to fix models and uncheck everything.
-Go to custome model creation and check all the boxes EXCEPT join meshes.
-Import your body base
-IN THESE NEXT STEPS ONLY IMPORT YOUR ASSETS (and their fbxs) THROUGH CATS!!!
-Connect the head asset to the body, align it to the best of your ability onto the
body. Merge as a singular armature.
-Merge clothes/objects onto the avatar. Repeateing the same process as the
body/head merge.
-Some sculpting and weight painitng might be required to make items fit better onto
the model.
-Rigging (if needed or createing assets).
-After you have gotton the above step perfected go into pose mode and test the
merges. Look for rips and fix where needed. Armpits and stuff like that are said to
be the most difficult things to deal with.
-When everything above is well and sorted convert your avatar file into an fbx
file.
-THEN GO TO UNITY!!!

:UpnDownPrettyHeart:━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━━━━━━━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━
━━━━━━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━━━━━━:UpnDownPrettyHeart:

IN UNITY THESE ARE THE STEPS YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE TO SUCESSFULLY SETUP YOUR
AVATAR:

Terms we will use here: Seting Paramaters, Exporting, Configure to Humanoid

(humanoid avatar descriptor), Makeing materials, setting the Viewpoint, Lip
Syncing, Eye movement, Physbones, Toggles, Colliders.

-Make sure you had made your project into an fbx back in Blender.
-Save a backup of your new fbx.
-Open VRC CC and create a new Unity scene (2019)version.
-Import your fbx into Unity after having made the scene (Also you should make a
clean, organized folder of all of your projects textures & materials beforehand).
-Configure your avatar to humanoid.
-Set your paramaters (Viewpoint, Lip syncing, Eye movement.)
-Setup your Phys bones
-Establish your colliders
-Set your toggles
-Make a skintone radial (NOT required to sucessfully make your avatar but it's nice
to do).

Upload your avie and then you're done!!!

━━━━━━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━━━━━━:UpnDownPrettyHeart:

THESE STEPS BELOW WALK YOU THROUGH WHAT IS LISTED ABOVE BUT IN MORE DETAIL:

-Export your fbx (can youtube any turtorial on how to make your file an fbx in
blender)
-Open Unity through the creator companion

Before you make your project unity will show what will be installed into your
project, here are some things other creators have told me is helpful to add:

-Pumkin avatar tools

-UnlitWF shaders
-Avatar 3.0 Inspector
-Gesture manager
-Avatar 3.0 Manager
-Avatar Emulator

(Most of these will have their latest versions automatically installed)

-Your scene is open and your project is ready, go to the upper left menus in unity,
go to assets, select import new assets (your saved fbx from blender)
-Prepare your materials/textures folders for your project.
-Select click your model down in the project tray.
-Go to the materials tab, go to/drop down to location(s), select use exact
materials (after you have selected your material/textures folders).
-Hit apply.
-Selcet your model again, go to the right and in the upper menu of the inspector
select the rig tab, select animation types, select humanoid. LEAVE THE OBJECT BOX
UNCHECKED. Hit apply (it's a little bitty button).
-Under avatar definition hit configure.
-Go to the head the head tab then and remove the jaw bone (Also, you might not need
the chest bone).
-Check the hands as well. (If your an fbt user especially if you have Index
controllers -finger tracking- you're going to want to make sure your finger rigs
are good!)
-Continue to the muscle settings tab, then hit done when it's all good.
-Drag your avatars fbx up from the project tray and put it into the hierarchy (The
menu to the left above project and console).
-Click on the model in the hierarchy (The model is named the hierarchy).
-Go over to the lower side of the right menu and click add component, find vrchat
avatar descriptor. Select humanoid avatar descriptor.
-Find lip sync and make sure it's sat to auto detect.
-Find your viewball, this is where your viewpoint in vrchat will be in the game.
It's most likely above your avatar and you will have to adjust the height. It's
measured in meters so imperial users will have to ajust their numbers to meters).
-Then you can continue to set your physbones, colliders, togles, skintone radial
etc.
-Make sure to save your project again, you've come so far!!!
-Then prepare to upload!!!

:UpnDownPrettyHeart:━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━━━━━━━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━
━━━━━━━━━━━♡:UpnDownPrettyHeart:♡━━━━━━:UpnDownPrettyHeart:

THE UPLOADING PROCESS

-I would close Unity now and then open it again into a new project.
-Select new project
-select the avatar option.
-Add in the additional tools you want for your project, if any.
-The new scene is sat up, the current SDK is already in it.
-Add poiyiomi (or any additional materials tools you need like Arktoon etc.).
-Add your avatar from the project console into the scene, drag and drop.
-Go up to the VRC SDK in the builder (Very most upper menu in Unity).
-Select SHOW CONTROL PANEL.
-Go to the builder.
-Auto fix any issues. Usually it's pretty easy, usualy.
-Wait for Unity to upload everything, you should go to the bathroom, get a snack,
it can take forever especially on lower end computers.
-Name your project.
-Setup a cool thumbnail (there are all kinds of youtube turtorials on how to do
this.).
-Set your avatar to private.
-In the new upcomeing 2022 SDK you can set your appropriate filters so younger
users can't see your mommy tittys and your monster penis :3
-Go down to Build & publish for windows and as usual wait for Unity to Unity.
-And then eventually the avatar is done and uploaded into the game!!!

Here is the process where you show it off to your friends in the game and test it's
functionality and then when it's all good and there's nothing wrong YOU CAN START
SELLING AVATARS!!!
