CHAIRMAN
"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."
- Winston Churchill

It is a matter of pride to pen down the message for “Crescendo” the Annual School Magazine of
MPS, Kalwar Road, Jaipur.
Academic Excellence along with Co-Curricular Activities completes the process of education, and
it gives me great satisfaction that the school is progressing in all its endeavours towards the
holistic development of the personality of the students. The school clearly showcases the idea
that to keep the mind healthy everyone needs to participate in one or the other form of sports or
physical exercise. MPS, Kalwar Road also caters to the inculcating of different art forms like music,
dance, etc. among the students, thus fostering the preservation of cultural heritage.
The school magazine is a platform for the students to express their creative pursuit which
develops originality of thought and perception. The contents of the magazine reflect the
wonderful creativity of thoughts and imagination of our students. I firmly believe that students
must be taught how to think, not what to think, that reminds me of the great words of wisdom by
Aristotle-
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
As we impart education to match the advancement of technology and globalization, we march
our children ahead with the ethos of moral and ethical principles.
I congratulate and wish success to MPS, Kalwar Road in all its endeavours.

Pradeep Baheti

VICE–CHAIRMAN
“Ensuring high quality education is one of the most important things
we can do for future generations.”
- Ron Lewis
We strongly believe that every student is a good learner with his or her own set
of abilities and virtues. We are committed to impart quality education to our
children so that they can become excellent human beings in future as to prove
themselves and to become excellent professionals. We are committed to
inculcate moral values and required characteristics in our students so that they
can come up with their own identity.
We frayed into education about 83 years ago with a goal -to impart quality education and to provide the
students with the state-of-the-art facilities and we are proud to say that we are successfully running on
this path till date. We try our level best to help the students to reach greater heights and are striving hard
to make the best possible efforts to inculcate good ethics in the children. Our school provides a blend of
scholastic and co-scholastic activities so that each child gets a chance to fly high.
Welcome to MPS KALWAR ROAD to experience world class education with a difference.

GENERAL SECRETARY EDUCATION

"Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere
efforts and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives -
choice, not chance determines your destiny." - Aristotle
One's attitude towards life decides one's altitude. When excellence becomes our
attitude, success becomes our habit. Positive attitude coupled with determination helps us to take the first step
towards excellence. A student has to understand that every day is a learning curve. Therefore he/she needs to go
through the process of chiseling and sharpening himself/herself in order to make excellence his/her attitude. It may
take days, weeks, months or years to be perfect. It is important not to be disheartened by initial failures as they
teach us how to turn them into stepping blocks which ultimately leads to success. Definitely, people are not born
with excellence but they cultivate it over a period of time through hard , wise and smart work. One requires to learn
to do smart work as it helps him/her to have a cutting edge on others. Be totally dedicated and committed to what
you do, as excellence is only possible with them. Believe me, pushing yourselves beyond your comfort zone and
going that extra mile will set you apart from others and will help you hit the bull's eye. Don't settle for anything lesser
than the best, so MPSites gear up for the glorious future you have ahead. I strongly believe that the future belongs to
you all as you all will be the trend setters and icons for future generation. Rise, shine and fly high in the sky but keep
your feet grounded.
A new age CBSE SCHOOL is welcoming all of you with open arms to revive the great Indian Values.

HON. SECRETARY
“Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education.”
- Martin Luther King
Being extremely driven and focussed on the constantly changing scenario of
school education, the ECMS laid the foundation of MPS, Kalwar Road two years
back with the aim of nourishing inherent virtues and cultivating leadership
skills. It was started with a mission to build a community of leaders, over a
foundation of shared beliefs, values and ethos.
MPS Kalwar Road has garnered a strong reputation to become one of the most
coveted schools focussing on bolstering young students' learning skills, self reliance and empathy. It is no
exaggeration to say that dedicated to traditional bedrock values, the school has complied skyrocketed
expectations of rapidly changing global environment by providing colourful vibrant campus, enriched
libraries, well stocked laboratories and spacious air conditioned smart class rooms. MPS Kalwar Road,
just being the newest appendage is another venture to strengthen the early childhood education and
focus more on middle school education to decide a career stream, suitable for students.
'Crescendo' is a synergistic effort to display the academic journey of the boisterous MPSites to highlight
their flair and creativity.
My congratulations to the editorial team!

Manoj Kumar Birla

TREASURER
“Focus on the journey, not on the destination. Joy is found not in
finishing an activity, but in doing it.''
- Greg Anderson
Learning at our institutions is based on the fundamental principles of life, teaching the children to be
courageous, confident, disciplined, responsible and loyal. Education at our Alma maters provides a
foundation for a lifetime of learning and is great fun too.
Today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to empower its student to be
lifelong learners. We try to provide the best possible environment for healthy development of young
children by providing a carefully planned and structured environment in which the child grows and learns
in a natural way.
I also take this opportunity to thank the parents of our students for having bestowed their faith and
confidence in us. Your faith in us is our driving force. I would like to end with the words of Albert Einstein-
“Imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited to all we now know and
understand, while imagination embraces the entire world and all there ever will be to know and
understand."

s I walk down the hallways of school everyday, I can hear the chatter of eager minds,
the shout of excitement from the victorious athletes, the thump of dancer`s feet and
the sound of melodious voices harmonizing. The perpetual energy movement and
enthusiasm permeate the atmosphere at MPS, Kalwar Road. We are a school with a
difference, we value individualism, creativity and innovation and strive to nurture them in
our students.
The school's genuine concern ensures students' emotional growth along with intellectual
excellence. This empowers them to develop their self-esteem, self-awareness and self-
confidence. Sharing ideas, analyzing situations and expressing them confidently are
essential skills which are honed here, through experimental learning.
Shaping young minds is one of life's biggest challenges. At MPS Kalwar Road, we aim to
empower our students to grow as individuals with strong, open and discerning minds and an
international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global village-the world has
come to be today.
My role as Principal is to keep up with the latest trends and research. It is also a matter of
great pride that our school has introduced the “Smart I-classes in collaboration with Apple
Technologies” for the pedagogical process. I would like to thank the management as this
would not have been possible without their support and cooperation. I am sure that with the
cooperation of all and with the blessings of the Almighty, the school will continue to grow in
all possible ways in the years to come. I congratulate the members of the Editorial Board for
bringing out the second issue of the Annual School Magazine “Crescendo”.

"Children learn more from what you are, than what you teach." – W.E.B. Dubois
As an educator and academician I strongly believe in the above doctrine. Today's generation is
technologically very advanced and is known as Digital Natives. In terms of knowledge, data and
information they have an upper hand over the adults, but the area where they are lacking is
their emotional quotient.
Next, I firmly perceive the fact that we need to build a positive attitude in our children, Harry
Edwards has very aptly said that – “We must teach our children to dream with their eyes open.”
I feel fortunate to be a part of system where academic planning and programmes are
designed keeping in view the new education policy. The classroom in our school is no longer
a dull place with a monotonous routine in which the student is at the receiving end, and the
teacher at the giving end. Here at MPS Kalwar Road, the classroom vibrates with vigour and
vitality where the teacher employs activity oriented methods and makes use of Audio –
Video aids at the fullest like Apple I-Pad, Projectors, Smart boards for the better conduction

VICE - PRINCIPAL Henceforth I want to congratulate the Editorial Board of “Crescendo” who has played a
wonderful role in accomplishing the task in record time.

Dynamic Maestros
Editorial Team
Dear Reader,
Greetings to you!
The second edition of “Crescendo” has been a mammoth task. The standard set by last year's publication was high, but this year
we have exceeded our own expectations and produced a comprehensive review of the work and extra-curricular life at MPS,
Kalwar Road. This magazine serves like a year book for the students of this school.
We are pleased to release the second edition of the Annual School Magazine of MPS, Kalwar Road. Enjoy every moment you have
because, I believe in life, there aren't rewinds, only flashbacks.
For you, we have worked hard to bring up an exhilarating flashback of the introspection of the school, its history and the events
and achievements during the session 2019-2020. “Crescendo” is the school magazine through which the students can expose
their literary and artistic talents. Achievements of the students in curricular and extra curricular activities and their excellence are
highlighted through our school magazine as well. Happy reading!
Pooja Ajmera, Editor Co-ordinator

You have in your hand “Crescendo'' – MPS Kalwar Road's official magazine. It captures the momentous moments of the MPSite's
journey. We have tried our level best to make sure that, this memoir must recapitulate our eventful expedition in MPS Kalwar
Road . Crescendo is a compilation of the immense effort put forward by the invincible MPSites and is also a specimen of their
creativity. This issue might be termed as a reminiscence of our Alma Mater's glory . This year is another splendid year , with our
students bringing laurels to the school in all possible spheres . Team MPS Kalwar Road strongly believes that-
“The strength of the team is each individual member,
The strength of each individual member is the team''
Kavita Rathore, Editor

Any success is incomplete without a bash,

and for our students, synonym of success is MPS.
It gives me immense pleasure to be the part of the second edition of Our School's Annual Magazine “Crescendo” which means
elevation from lower to higher. It signifies the gradual increase. We put in extra efforts to brush up the creative faculty of our
students and the second edition of our magazine is a picture –perfect over view of that creativity.
Editing has always been my area of interest and I am thankful to the board members of the Editorial Team for their never-ending
efforts which have made this edition a success story. I am thankful to one and all and I hope that it will be a good pastime for the
readers and the parents will be proud to read the writings of their children.

Don't keep study at your lips My work will always please me,
Keep it in mind. And I won't accept any mess

Because she is the only lady My writing will be neat,

Smile is infectious
You catch it like flu
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner,
And someone saw my grin,
When he smiled I realized,
I`d passed it on him. My teacher is great
I thought about that smile,
She is never late
Then realized its worth,
She is sincere and kind
A single smile, just like mine,
And she has a sharp mind
Could travel round the earth.
So, if you find smile around She teaches us well,
Don't leave it undetected, Much before the bell,
Let's start an epidemic quick, She never scolds or screams
And get the world infected. Even in my dreams.

The School

Mistake
I have started going to school
Nobody calls me now a fool. If a tailor makes a mistake
Building of school is so great It's a new fashion.
Here, I don't like to be late. If a carpenter makes a mistake,
Every morning we all do prayer It's a new furniture.
We thank God for all love and care. If a mathematician makes a mistake
Here we learn so many things It's a new formula.
Teachers will tell us, If a scientist makes a mistake
Why birds have got wings ? It's a new theory.
Tonics from the books boost our brain If an administrator makes a mistake
All sums are easy, everything we can. It's a new principle.
Today ,we read a new story If a judge makes a mistake
How Mr. Stomach burns calories. It's a new decision.
In lunch break we learn to share But if a student makes a mistake,
When it comes to hygiene ,we all are aware. It's the poorest “F” grade.
The sports period I truly enjoy

If you always try your best

I have a little frog Then you will never have to wonder

About what you could have done
I have a little frog If you'd summoned all your thunder.
Its name is Jiny Jim, And if your best
I put it in the bathtub, Was not as good
To see if It could swim,
As you hoped it would be,
It drunk up all the water,
You still could say,
And gobbled up the soap,
And when it tried to talk, “I gave today
It had a bubble in its throat. All that I had in me”.

No one can inspire me more, Is it a dream or a nightmare?
No one can hug me tighter. Is front of it do over dream wear?

What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain, The joy of a morning in spring,

The majesty of a tree, The faith of a mustard seed,
The warmth of a summer sun, The patience of eternity,
The calmness of a quiet sea, The depth of a family need,
The generous soul of nature, Then God combined these qualities,
The comforting arm of night, When there was nothing more to add,
The wisdom of the ages, He knew His masterpiece was complete,
The power of the eagle’s flight, And so, He called it…. Dad.
