GUIDELINES FOR MBA PROJECT
1. The student has to join the organization for his/her project work on 08.04.2024 and
send the joining report in the format – I (as per Appendix 1) on or before 10.04.2024 to
their Supervisor(s).
2. The students have to give a monthly report to their supervisor(s) in format – II (as per
Appendix 2) when they come for monthly review. The first of such review meetings
would be held on 04.05.2024.. Areas to be covered during the review periods are as
indicated below;

The reviews will be based on Power Point Presentation (PPT) to the review panel.
3. On completion of the second review the students should prepare the project report
according to the guidelines. The student should submit a preliminary draft for review
by the Supervisor on or before 03.06.24 WITHOUT FAIL.
4. Continuous Assessment: The progress of the students will be assessed for 50 marks.
The breakup details are as follows.

5. The student should produce an attendance certificate till they are attached with the
organization, to be submitted to the supervisor on or before 01.06.2024.
6. The Project Report prepared according to approved guidelines and duly signed by the
Supervisor(s) shall be submitted to the head of the department. The medium of Project /
Reports will be in English. The last date for submission of Project report to the
respective Supervisors is 12.06.2024. Delayed submission of Project report will not be
accepted under any circumstances.
7. The report should be prepared without plagiarism. The similarity index should be less
than 20% which should be attached in the project report.
8. Two copies of the Project Report & a Soft Copy of the Project Report in CD should be
submitted to the Supervisor by the student on or before 13.06.2026. The report has to
be send to the external examiners for evaluation.

9. The evaluation of the Project work will be based on the project report and a Viva-voce
Examination by a team consisting of the supervisor, an internal examiner and an
External Examiner.
10. Student shall prepare very well and endeavor to score maximum marks. They must
also be able to interact during Viva-voice and answer all the questions relating to the
project. This would be possible provided the student is thorough with the project
details.
Student shall bestow enough care and attention while compiling the project
report for submission to the College. It must be quite comprehensive. For the guidance
of the students a copy of the manual for preparing the project report is enclosed
(Appendix 3).
