Banner commodities :
CORN
Mr. Ferdinand Tuccat corn coordinator
Alfonso Lista reported 15,908 hectares
planted with yellow corn as of January 31,
2025 out of the 17,200 hectares target for
this planting season.
This has made our municipality the corn
capital of the Province of Ifugao
CORN
 Provincial Corn Congress last year which was
held in Aguinaldo Ifugao have been participated
by the three municipalities of Lamut, Alfonso
Lista and Aguinaldo.
 Trainings as Farmer Fields school, Corn Cassava
intercropping, and seed production were
conducted to Farmers association/organization
and corn cluster areas in the municipality.
RICE BANNER
 Rice coordinator Mr. Rod Santiago
 2,300 hectares irrigated and rainfed rice fields
across the municipality were reported as
planted this cropping season.
 Trainings on Palay Check System were
conducted by Philrice, San Mateo, Isabela and
Partner Agencies from the Department of
Agriculture Regional office.

per barangay, planting and
harvesting reports every cropping.
Assist in the Rice Farmers Financial
Assistance (RAFA) Program from the
Department of Agriculture
HIGH VALUE CROPS
 Headed by M. Danilo Barwelo and Ronelia Taylan
 Tasked to make reports on planting and harvesting
of different Lowland vegetables planted across
the municipality.
 Update master list of vegetable growers, GAP
learning sites and facilitate application of new
applicants for pre assesment by the Province and
final validation by the DA Regional Office.
HIGH VALUE CROPS
 Conduct trainings on group marketing,
production, care and management and Good
Agriculture Practice (GAP).
 Conduct techno demo on Onion Production
which we have one at Busilac, Alfonso Lista
with Mr. Joseph Benemerito as cooperator.
 Assist Group Marketing of selected lowland
vegetables and white Corn for processing.
LIVESTOCK SECTION
 Municipal Veterinarian Dr. Florentino Valdez
 Assisted by Agriculturist II Mr. Mario Villar,
Agricultural Technologist Mr. Joseph Angowan
and Mr. Letac Jr plus Four Job Orders
 Tasked to perform Disease Diagnosis, Good
Animal Health Practice and maintenance,
Deworming, Castration, and Artificial
Insemination.
LIVESTOCK SECTION
 Conduct of Trainings on Good animal
health practices and production.
 Issue animal certificate and permits to
travel
 Master listing of animal growers and
animal dispersal programs by the office.
FISHERY SECTION
 Look for Mr. Chris Pinon
 Fish dispersal for Tilapia and Carp.
 Assist growers to get insurance for their fish
grown to Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation
(PCIC).
 Training on Aquaculture and fish processing.

FISHERY SECTION
 Fish Hatchery at Brgy. Bangar with Mr.
Carmelito Butac as care taker.
 For commercial production farmer can be
assisted to secure good source of fingerlings
(SRT).
 Fisher folk Registration to include growers,
resellers, laborers, fish hunters and
processors.
MUNICIPAL NURSERY
 For Local FRUITS SEEDLINGS and Cacao
 Composting Facility Operation and maintenance
( 3 Units ) as of January 2025 producing Soil
Conditioners as compost, Organic Fertilizer and
Vermicast.
 Sto. Domingo nursery for forest trees.
 VEGETABLE SEEDLING Nursery.
