Product Description A single pack silicone acrylic heat resistant coating
Intended Uses • A superior combination of silicone and acrylic resins which provides a finish with excellent long term durability and
heat resistance.
• Designed for use with surface temperatures from ambient to 200 °C continuous service in conjunction with a
suitable ZINC ETHYL SILICATE PRIMER (PLASCOZINC 1).
• Recommended for plants with problem areas where hot surfaces are exposed to corrosive environments.

Application Details Mixing The unthinned material should not be stirred as stirring will disrupt the thixotropic
properties. It will restructure several hours after stirring.
Method Airless spray: Nozzle orifice: 0.015” – 0.018” Nozzle pressure 2000-3000 psi.
Brush: For touch up only.

Surface Preparation • All surfaces must be thoroughly degreased using PLASCON AQUASOLV DEGREASER (GR 1) followed by clean water
rinses.
• This product should be applied onto inorganic zinc ethyl silicate primers within the recommended over coating times in
order to achieve heat resistant requirements.
• Recommended Primer: PLASCOZINC 1 (PZI 233 / LYE 2)
