Unit 4 Writing Assignment

Topic 1:

I believe a longitudinal study could be used to study the particular attachment type of a child. By
observing traits in the child as they grow and develop, you'd have more data to work with and could
form a more in-depth analysis of their behavior. I believe you could also potentially cross-reference the
data with behaviors from other children of similar backgrounds.

Topic 2:

I can't really recall any specific instances of gender typing in my life off the top of my head. I've always
been bulkier, so I suppose I've always just come off as masculine to most people. Nowadays, having
grown a moustache and started shaving my head to combat balding, I think people have even less doubt
and I've even had people think I'm an older man than I actually am.
I've always been comfortable with my gender identity. I was born a male and identify as a male. I do
have some “feminine” interests, I suppose, but I feel most people have some interests outside of their
typical gender role even if they don't admit it.
