As a member of AIR Worldwide’s Software Development team, you will act as a liason between product owners,

architects, development team members and analysts to build and maintain enterprise-level software solutions. The ideal
candidate should have deep understanding of smart-client design and superior development and design ability with strong
analytical skills. This person will have “Solid line” reporting relationships with development staff members and will be
responsible for the work, products and status communications from that team.

The team lead will provide technical support in new project initiatives, design, develop and enhance existing systems.

Responsibilities
 Lead a team of developers in creating well-architected solutions
 Maintain in-depth expertise in product, technology, architecture and design
 Ensure SDG Project commitments are met on schedule
 Provide full range of management responsibilities for a team of software developers including, setting goals and
objectives, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff, conducting performance reviews and
assisting with staff development. Works with HR on Hiring/firing decisions and in handling disciplinary issues.
 Ensure coding adheres to best practices and overall technical aspects of the project are developed meeting
highest quality standards.
 Develop cloud-based web applications for the insurance industry, focusing on architecture, network setup, site
layout, user interface, database design, workflows, graphics, and testing.
 Develop, maintain, and debug applications using .NET Core, C#/Java, Angular/React, and Python.

Requirement
 B.S. in Math, EE, CS or Software Engineering; M.S preferred.
 8+ years of hands-on experience in development of commercial-grade software products.
 2+ years in leading either full development lifecycle and leading technical team.
 5+ years of proven experience in developing and supporting applications using .NET Core, C#/Java/Python, and
Angular.
 3+ years of Experience with AWS technologies
 3+ years of hands-on experience with Strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure, deploying and
managing applications on AWS.
 Strong understanding of Agile process and best practices
 Strong knowledge of latest technologies and trends.
 Ability to develop use-cases from business requirements
 Ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders outside of Dev. group, especially with Product
Management on feature requirements and project schedules.
 Ability to provide effective technical leadership and oversight to development team on a project, ensuring that
software is developed in adherence to established architecture, design, quality standards, as well as delivery
schedule.
