Big Ben

 Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of


the clock at the north end of the Palace of
Westminster in London.
 The tower is officially Elizabeth Tower,
renamed to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of
Elizabeth II in 2012; before that, it was known
simply as the Clock Tower.
 The tower is one of the most prominent
symbols of the United Kingdom.
 The tower was completed in 1858. It stands
96m tall.

Buckingam Palace

 Is the residence and administrative


headquarters of the reigning monarch
of the United Kingdom. Located in the
City of Westminster
 Built in 1703 for John Sheffield, 1st Duke
of Buckingham .

Tower Bridge

 The Tower Bridge of London, or simply


Tower Bridge, is a bridge built on the
River Thames, in the city of London,
capital of the United Kingdom.
 It was inaugurated in 1894 and is
currently one of the most visited tourist
spots in the city, besides being known as
one of the most famous bridges in the
world.

Hyde Park

 Hyde Park is a park in central London,


England. It is famous for its Speaker
Corner.
 It opened to the public in 1637 and
quickly became popular, particularly for
May Day parades.
 In the late 20th century, the park
became known for holding large-scale
free rock music concerts
Tower of London

 The Her Majesty's Royal Palace and


Fortress of the Tower of London is a
historic castle located in the city of
London, England, United Kingdom, on
the north bank of the River Thames.
 It was founded around the end of the
year 1066 after the Norman conquest of
England.

British Museum

 The British Museum, located in the


Bloomsbury area of London, United
Kingdom, is a public institution
dedicated to human history, art and
culture.
 Its permanent collection, with about 8
million works, is one of the largest and
most comprehensive existence and
originates from all continents,
illustrating and documenting the history
of human culture from its beginnings to
the present .

Westminster Abbey

 It is one of the United Kingdom's most


notable religious buildings and the
traditional place of coronation of the
British monarch
 Between 1540 and 1556, the abbey had
the status of a cathedral.

Madame Tussaud’s
 Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in
London with smaller museums in a
number of other major cities.
 Madame Tussauds is a major tourist
attraction in London, displaying the
waxworks of famous and historic people
and also popular film characters.
