Instructions:
Step 1: Identify a Business Idea
• Reflect on your skills, interests, and productive habits. Choose a business idea that aligns
with these strengths.
• Examples include:
o Freelance Services (e.g., graphic design, tutoring, content writing)
o Product-Based Businesses (e.g., handmade crafts, baked goods)
o Digital Solutions (e.g., mobile app ideas, productivity tools)
Step 2: Develop Your Business Model Canvas (BMC)
Create a BMC using the 9 Key Components:
1. Key Partners
o List individuals, suppliers, or collaborators who can help your business thrive.
o Example: Suppliers for materials, freelancers for marketing, etc.
2. Key Activities
o Identify the core tasks that keep your business running.
o Example: Baking, designing, client consultations, social media promotion.
3. Value Propositions
o Explain what makes your product or service unique and valuable.
o Example: Affordable pricing, eco-friendly features, or premium quality.
4. Customer Relationships
o Describe how you will build and maintain customer trust.
o Example: Loyalty programs, personalized services, or after-sales support.
5. Customer Segments
o Identify your target audience.

6. Key Resources
o List the tools, equipment, or skills you will need.
o Example: Laptop, baking tools, software subscriptions, etc.
7. Channels
o Explain how you will promote and deliver your product or service.
o Example: Social media, websites, local markets, or delivery services.
8. Cost Structure
o Outline your expected expenses.
o Example: Materials, marketing fees, equipment maintenance, etc.
9. Revenue Streams
o Describe how you will earn income from your business.
o Example: Product sales, subscription fees, consultation fees, etc.
Step 3: Design Your Business Model Canvas
• Use one of the following options to create your BMC:
o Hand-drawn on paper with clear labels and organized sections.
o Digital tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or online BMC templates.
• Ensure your BMC is visually organized and easy to understand.
Step 4: Write a Reflection Report
• Write a 1-2 page reflection that explains:
o Why you chose this business idea.
o The strengths and weaknesses of your BMC.
o How your personal productivity habits influenced your business concept.
