Directions:

If you want to use these items many times, they can be laminated or put in
plastic sleeve, page protectors. The children can then use a white board marker on them.

Pages 3-5: Dino Hunt Exhibit - The sign will let your visitors know the name of the exhibit. Bury
the dinosaur pictures in a sensory bin or hide in a room. Child writes the number on the chart of
each dinosaur they found. You can laminate the cards if you would like to do this activity again and
again.

Pages 6-9: Create a Dinosaur Exhibit - The sign will let your visitors know the name of the exhibit.
Create the dinosaurs on the cards by using play dough.

Pages 10-11: Dinosaur Fossils Exhibit - The sign will let your visitors know the name of the exhibit.
Create salt dough by following the recipe. Then, have the child press a small toy dinosaur into a
flattened ball of dough. When the child removes the dinosaur, you will be able to see an impression
of it in the dough. It will look like a fossil. Salt dough will dry and keep the impressions.

Pages 12-17: Feed the Dinosaurs Exhibit - The sign will let your visitors know the name of the
exhibit. Cut out around the dinosaurs and inside their mouths. Tape each dinosaur over a bowl or
plastic container. Cut out the food items and put them in a sensory bin. Have the child find the food
in the sensory bin and feed the correct dinosaur.

Pages 18-20: Create a New Dinosaur Exhibit - The sign will let your visitors know the name of the
exhibit. Create a new dinosaur with play dough and put it on one of the three play dough mats.

Page 21: Welcome Sign - These signs will welcome the guests to the dinosaur museum.

Salt Dough
Ingredients
1 cup salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup warm water

Directions
1. Pour salt and flour into a large bowl and stir
them together.

2. Add the water to the bowl and stir.

3. Knead by hand until the dough is mixed.

4. Roll out a small ball of dough and flatten it with


your hand.

5. Gently press a small toy dinosaur into the


dough.

6. Remove and see the fossil! Allow to air dry.
