In July 2019, I traveled to London with my grandmother, marking a long-awaited trip before the Covid pandemic. We stayed in a beautiful and affordable Victorian hotel near Victoria Station and spent a week exploring various attractions and museums. I particularly fell in love with the architecture of Big Ben during our visit.

Talk about your last holiday.

Last holiday I went to was in July 2019 before the Covid Pandemic. I have been planning for many
years to go to London and finally I was able to go. I travelled with my grandmother. She is from
Talavera and I’m from Madrid. I went to pick her up from Talavera with my boyfriend, then he took
us to Madrid airport and we took the plane to London. He didn’t want to come with us because he is
afraid of flying. When we arrived to London we took a train to Victoria Station were our hotel was.
The hotel was the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen, it was in a Victorian building, my
grandmother couldn’t believe it. And it was so cheap. We stayed in London for 1 week and visited
many places and many museums. I felt in love with the city especially with the Big Ben because of its
very original architecture.
