Today’s liturgy is divided into five parts: (1) Liturgy of the Word, (2) Washing of Feet,
(3) Liturgy of the Eucharist, (4) Procession to the Altar of repose, and (5) Adoration. The
principal mysteries which are commemorated in this Mass: (1) The Institution of the Eucharist,
(2) the Institution of the Priesthood, and (3) Christ’s Command of brotherly love.
