stone aggregate with minimum cement
content of 400 Kg/cum & maximum water
cement ratio of 0.45 at any location with form

with 20 mm slze graded machine crushed
stone aggregate with minimum cement
content ol 425 Kg/cum & maximum water
cement ratio of 0.4 in concrete elements such
as Walls, Top slab, bottom slab, haunches of

specified in the drawings with form work of
approved quality and material, supplying and
fixing of shuttering, deshuttering,
staging and scaffolding, dewatering, placing

fixing of shuttering, de shuttering, staging,
cover blocks, laying/pumping, compaction
finishing the formed surfaces with cement
mortar 1:3 of sufficient minimum thickness to
give a smooth and even surface or
roughening if special finish is to be provided
and curing etc. Complete. (Excluding
reinforcement and structural steel). with fully
automatic microprocessor based PLC with
concrete Batch mix plant etc.
Complete. With natural sand/V.S.l. quality
ArtificialSand.

manufacturers from TATA, SAIL, JSW, JSPL,

diameters in R.C.C /pSC items in Railway &
Non Railway portion such as RCC Retaining
walls, RCC Box Section, Sump tank, Footings,
RCC covered approaches. The rates include
supply, loading, unloading, transporting to
site, cutting, bending, hooking, placing and

Note:
(i) The wastage, cut pieces shall be taken
away by the contractor and the same will not
be payable.
(ii) The overlaps / embedment length and
other overlaps shall not be payable.
(iii) Chairs shall not be payable extra.

Terms and Conditions:

01. Period of Work: The preliminary work should be started immediately from handing
over of site and/or from the date of Issuance of this Work Order 4 (Four) months
Period for construction of listed item completed within from the issue of this Work
Order. Any extension or prior completion period can be mutually discussed and agreed
depending upon the site condition.
02. Handing over Land for Construction: GIT shall handover site to the contractor.
03. Construction Water and Power: All Water and electricity required for office camp,
plant and all other general purpose shall be arranged by the contractor at their own
cost.
04. Any liaising on local issues (village administration, local permissions and police etc.)
in relation with this works, while executing the works shall be handled/ managed by
the Contractor only.
05. Plant & Equipment: All required manpower and machineries for execution of work
shall be provided by the contractor and the rate of same is included in BOQ price and
no separate payment will be done. If, need arises we will ask Contractor to increase
the manpower and machineries as per site requirement which shall not pay any extra
charges in any circumstances and no ideal charges of planV machinery/ man/
resources will be paid to the contractor in any circumstances or situation.
06. The work shall be carried out as per the instructions of authorized representative of
GIT. In addition to BOQ, however, unit rates will be unchanged for increase or
decrease in scope of work.
07. Specification: The work is to be executed strictly as per technical specification of
MRIDL or as directed by Engineer-in-charge of GlT. If contractor fails to execute as
per specification, Gl'I shall appoint separate agency to execute full and/or partial work
at contractor's own risk and cost where same cost shall be recovered from the bills.
08" Quality Control Test Reports: The Contractor shall provide all necessary Quality
control laboratory tests and its reports as per Standard Specifications up to level of
satisfaction of Client at contractor cost. If not done accordingly, GIT shall
appoinVinstruct to conduct third party quality test at contractors cost and risk, cost
shall be recovered from contractor's bills.
09. Traffic Safety: The Contractor shall arange to full-fill all Traffic Safety Compliances
and requirements during and after the daily work, at working site, plant location,
labour camps. etc. as per relevant codes, existing guidelines and prevalent regulations.
The contractor shall make sure the all safety requirement of Signage's Board for
traffic divert up Authority satisfaction.
10. Safety: The Contractor will have to undertake all the safety measures while working
with plant / machinery / material and staff at site. The Contractor will be solely
responsible for any accidents that may arise out of poor safety measurcs while
working. No compensation or damages to your machinery / Staff / Third person will
be paid by us in such cases.
I l" Measurement and Certification of Bills: Measurement for the monthly bill shall be
consider up to last day of month and shall be raised on approved work done as per
MRIDL procedure. Monthly bill shall be submitted within 7 days from the end of the
month. Such bills shall be verified and certified by GIT within 30 days from date of
submission of such RA bill.
12. Payment: The payments shall be made only for certified bills, based on the approved
work, certified measurements and payments will be made accordingly after making
necessary recoveries and deductions towards Retention Money, applicable IT TDS,
GST TDS, if applicable, and any applicable taxes or any other statutory deductions.
Payment to the tune of 100% of RA Bill will be released within 30 days from the date
of certified of RA Bill and no interim payment will be released, make the payment to
the agency subject to the following deductions as applicable:
a) Deductions on account of StatLrtory non compliances;
b) TDS as per law
c) Any other statutory deductions.
d) GST ivill
be paid separatcly and you have to provide GST details in fbrthrvith. In
case the contractor is unable to provide the GST details befbre raising the bill. the
case will bc considered as URD.
e) GST as applicable, from lime 1o time, shall be exclusive of the consideration and
shall be paid extra to the Contractor on Civil Cost at actual at agreed GST rates on
items mentioned in BoQ, subject to filing of GST retums and payment of GSTto
the Govt. by the Contractor.
No payment shall be released unless the subcontract provides with the copy of
payment of GST challan/ slip of the previous bill. In case the owner fails to provide
the aforesaid challan, the tenant shall be liable to pay only the basic amount of bill
excluding GST amount. However, If contractor fails to file GST in 3 Months then
that payment will be forfeited along with 180% interest penalty.

13. Subletting: The work should not sublet or assign work to others without the written
approval of the GIT. In case the contractor assigns or sublet his contract, or attempts
to do so, the GIT may; by notice in writing rescind the work. In the event of Contract
shall thereupon forfeit and be absolutely at the disposal of the GIT. If the unpaid
balance of the contract price shall expense the expense of completing the work, iuch
cxccsri shlrll be paid to the contractors: In case, the expenses or cost of finishing work
cxccctl lhc unpaid amount balance, the contractor shall pay the difference to the GIT.
'l'hc cnginccr's certificate as to the expense tinishing the work shall be final.
14. l)cpartrncntal Materials: When departmcntal matcrials are issued to a contractor from
titttc to titne for the contract the value of the full quantity of materials supplied may be
dcductcd from sums then due or thereafter to become due to the contractor under the
cotrtract or from the RR Bills.
15. Rctcntion Money: Retention Money of 5%o of the total work done will be withheld
fiom each Running Account Bill of the Contractor. This retention money shall be paid
to the contractor after completion of work subject to condition of submission of
sccurity/ BG for l8 months warranty under DLP period.
16. Defect Liability Period: Defect liability period for the said scope of the work is 18
months from the completion of project or as per Contract Agreement of MRIDL
(Whichever is maximum).
17" Quantities: Quantities mentioned in the Bill of Quantities are indicative and it may vary
up to any extend depending upon site conditions Quantities will be considered for
payment as measured at site and certified by In charge.
18. All Individual structures quantities shall be reconciled at time of final stage completion
of structure work; the measurement will be taken by both parlies along with jointly
certification as per approved drawings. If any incomplete work, item not considered for
the payment as per mentioned stage of paym€nts. If any hurdle/ obstructions for
completion of item then this case both parties shall be jointly verified for payment only.
19. Contractor shall demobilize the resourccs from site after completion of work only after
prior written consent/permission from GIT.
20. Price Variation: No price variation is applicable to this Work Order.
21. Escalation: No escalation applicable to this Work Order.
22. Mobilisation Advances: Mobilisation advance against security cheque will be given in
two instalments. In first instalment amount of Rs 5 Lakhs will be given after erection
of Labour camp and mobilisation of major machineries like excavator, Batching Plant,
etc. Second instalment of Rs 5 lakhs will be given after pouring of l" Billable
concrete. Mobilisation advance will be recovered from your running account bills at
20o/oper bill amount.
23. No extra claim shall be paid for any natural calamities and./or any natural disaster.
24" Goods and Service Tax: All prices indicated in the Bill of Quantities is exclusive of
Goods and Service Tax.
25. Compliances rclated to GST: The Contractor shall submit Tax lnvoice mentioning
GST Registration Number as well as PAN. Services Codes are Mandatory in Tax
invoices. The CST amount will release after confirmation of previous bill return file.
26. Insurance: All Contractor's Machineries, material, labours, staff, etc. shall be insured
with any insurance company approved by Government at Contractor's own cost and
all details shall be submitted the GIT before starting of works.
27. Statutory Obligations: The Contractor shall be solely responsible for strictly following
all labour laws, Industrial Laws, Factories Act, such other Laws and applicable
permits which are applicable from time to time, discharge of PF, labour Laws and
ESIC obligation.
28. Termination: If the Contractor fails to perform the work within stipulated time and
according to the work program as submitted by you or the contractor fails to achieve
the requisite progress or quality standard, in that case GIT is free to terminate the
contract by giving notice of 7 days or terminate with immediate effect to the
contractor. In this case, the Contractor shall not have any objections or claims thereof.
29. Penalty: If the contractor fails to complete the assigned work within the stipulated
period of time, and given a notice period by GIT as stated 1 of this letter, a penalty of
0. I % of the total assigned work will be charged on the contractor on a daily basis until

the work is completed to the satisfaction of GIT. I
30. Indemnification: The Contractor shall indemnify GIT and GIT's employer of the
project from implications of any failure of the Contractor to adhere to all statutory
laws and regulations, any accidents, injuries, casualty, damages to resources due to
negligence or action of the Contractor.
31" In case the Contractor damages any of GIT and GIT's employer's property or
resources while executing the work, then the Contractor shall be fully responsible for
the same and make good or compensate the loss.
32. Liability Payment: In case the contractor fails to make payment either to its suppliers,
labourers or to any other person, agencies, firms etc., who have done work for or
supplied material, services etc. to the subcontractor for the project work allotted to
him, MRIDL/ GIT shall have the right to make such payments directly to such person,
agencies, firm etc. after verifying the amount payable and same will. be recovered from
the bill with l0% interest rate.
33. In case of a dispute between GIT and the contractor, efforts shall be taken by Owner
of GIT to solve the issue amicably and through discussions. If still the matter is not
sorted out by to GIT, final decision by MRIDL shall be liable by both parties. If still
the mafter is not sorted out both parties can approach legally through jurisdiction in
Solapur, Maharashtra"
34. This WORK ORDER is subjected to prevailing Indian Laws and Solapur (Maharashtra)
jurisdiction"
35. Confidentiality: Contractor hereto agrees that the terms of this Work Order are intended
to be and remain at all times confidential.

signed and stamped as a token of acceptance"
