A- GENERAL :
5- Approved Tension tests should be carried out on steels sample taken from
every reinforcement steel batch deliverd to site.
7- Polythene sheets CAGE 1000 should be provided under subfloor slabs and on well
compacted soil.
B- MATERIALS :
1- Cement :
- Approved product of Portland cement should be used for superstructure.
- Cement for Substructure should be used (MS) Moderate Sulfate type ASTM C1157.
- Cement content not less than 375kg/m3
- W/C ratio not more than 0.45
2- Aggregates :
- Coarse and fine aggregate should be lime stone or dolomite mountain crushed
washed and graded according to the specification and the British standard,
All spicified testes should be submitted for approval and on Regular Basis.
3- Water :
- Pure and free of salt water should be used.
4- Concrete :
- Characteristic strenth of concrete after 28 days should be according to
ABU DHABI INVESTMENT OFFICE &
the specification but not be less than 40 N/mm2 ( Cube Strength). RUPEX HOME PROPERTIES-SOLE
- Water cement ratio should not exceed 0.45 at any stage. PROPRIETORSHIP L.L.C
5- Steel :
PROJECT NAME:
- All steel should be high yeild with yeild stress not less than 460 N/mm2
and Elongation not less than 12% .

- The Project is deigned using the ADBIC2013 and ref to ASCE7-05 and ACI318-08
E- CURING
- Concrete should be kept wet continuously for at least 7 days after placement.
- Effective mean of keeping moisture such as polythene sheets should be used.
- The curing starts as soon as the concrete surface hardens.
- Curing should continue for at least 15 days.
