“The Need to Stop Mobile Game Addiction”

I.Introduction

People should stop being addicted to mobile games because mobile games can cause eye strain
and vision problems, it had also been linked to depression, and also can disrupt sleep patterns leading to
sleep disturbances. Mobile games are video games played on mobile devices such as smartphones,
tablets, and handheld consoles. The history of mobile games dates back to the 1970s, when the first
mobile game, Tic-Tac-Toe, was created by British computer scientist Alexander S. Douglas in 1972.

II.Body

A. Mobile Game can caused Eye Strain and Vision Problems


—Prolonged Screen Time can cause eye fatigue, dryness, and irritation.
—Blue Light Emission has been linked to an increased risk of macular degeneration
—Poor Viewing Habits increasing the risk of vision problems

B. Mobile Game is also linked to depression


—Social Isolation can contribute to feelings of loneliness and depression.
—Unrealistic Expectations and Frustration.

C. Mobile Game can disrupt sleep patterns leading to sleep disturbances

In conclusion, mobile game addiction is a serious issue that affects our health and needed a
