20. A moving train accelerated from 15m/s to 25m/s in 5 seconds. It then changed to 10m/s in the
next 3 seconds. It travelled at this speed for 4 seconds before it came to a stop in the next 3
seconds.
(a) Using a scale of 2 cm to represent 5 units on the vertical axis and 2 cm to represent
2 units on the horizontal axis, draw a speed – time graph for the train. (4marks)

(b) Use the graph to calculate the deceleration in the last 3 seconds. (2marks)
