The Lost Kitten
Once there was a little kitten named Whiskers who loved to
explore. One sunny day, Whiskers roamed too far from home and
couldn't find her way back. She meowed sadly, feeling lost and
scared.
Luckily, Lily, a kind girl from the neighborhood, heard Whiskers'
cries. Lily followed the sound and found the kitten hiding behind
some bushes. Gently, Lily picked up Whiskers and rubbed her fur
to calm her down.
"I think you're lost," Lily said softly. She carried Whiskers back
to her house and gave her some milk to drink. Whiskers felt
grateful, feeling safe with Lily.
Lily's mom helped put up posters around the neighborhood with
Whiskers' picture. Soon, they heard from Whiskers' owner, who
was very happy to see her beloved kitten.
From that day on, Whiskers stayed close to home and always
remembered the kind girl who had helped her find her way back.
